The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires was beautiful. Even though Buenos Aires is a rather large city, once you walked into the hotel, you felt as though you were in a resort. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. What was so unbelievable was the staff remembered our names every time we came down into the lobby. It made us feel like we were among friends. Marinella, a concierge, was very helpful prior to our arrival answering many questions, as well as booking a soccer game for us and setting up our transportation on the Buquebus going to Uruguay. In fact, all of the concierges and bell men were so friendly, yet professional. The room we stayed in was the perfect size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was great! Breakfast was buffet style or you could order off the menu. Either way, the food was very good and the buffet selection was large. The workout facility was very nice with up to date stationary bikes and ellipticals.

The location was also great. The Four Seasons is situated in Recoleta, which is a charming neighborhood with great restaurants. You have to try El Cuartito for pizza, at least for lunch. Being from Chicago, it doesn’t compare but we still enjoyed it. The place is packed with locals throughout lunch-time. Our favorite meal was at La Cabrera. It was over an hour wait on a weeknight but it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed our experience so much we wouldn’t look to stay elsewhere in Buenos Aires.

We stayed for 4 nights in late September. Impressive lobby. Large room, adequately furnished. Bathroom had separate tub (filled up fast) and shower but dated black and white marble decor. Staff, including concierges and doormen, were friendly but no one took any effort to know our names or provide pro-active assistance with our tourist activities. The breakfast buffet was better than average but no one explained the availability of egg dishes until our last day. We found the nicely-appointed spa with men's sauna and steamroom to be first-rate though the outdoor pool was closed during our stay. In all, the Buenos Aires Four Seasons is certainly a luxury property that deserves the Four Seasons label but we found it lacks the "pizzaz" in decor, furnishings and architecture like the neighboring Park Hyatt and the personal touch of the Four Seasons Mexico City and other properties.

Stayed at the FS Buenos Aires in August. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgable. All of the restaurants they recommended were fantastic. The hotel bar was outstanding, too. The best part of this FS is the saturday night tango show in the hotel's bar-it's free! And afterwards, the instructors will even ask you to dance and let you try your hand (or foot!) at the tango. What a wonderful hotel!

  • Liked — Cleanliness, helpful staff, tango show
  • Disliked — Not within walking distance of many sights

I stayed in this hotel for a week in March. It is an outstanding hotel with wonderfully helpful staff, especially the concierge service.
My only disappointment during my stay was that the sun only hits the pool area after 2pm in the afternoon - other than that, a 5 star experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons for three nights on the last leg of our honeymoon.

The service at the hotel was flawless. We first arrived in Argentina 2 weeks prior to going to Buenos Aires but the Four Seasons had no trouble accomodating a request for a transfer from EZE to the domestic airport, which epitomized the quality of our stay there.

The room (and bathroom) is quite large and flawlessly appointed. The pool area was lovely, and staff came by frequently to take food and drink orders. We never went more than a few moments without having a towel nearby.

The concierge had taken care of all our reservations prior to our arrival, and had our dining plans printed out for us at the time of our check-in. They were quite helpful when asked for futher recommendations, and those recommendations were spot-on. They also took care of tickets to a local tango show and lessons.

Recoleta is a lovely area and we were able to walk to many of the local attractions from the hotel - whether it be the high-end shops or Recoleta Cemetary.

The Four Seasons is an outstanding hotel and we have absolutely no complaints at all with the hotel and have no hesitations in recommending it.
