The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires was beautiful. Even though Buenos Aires is a rather large city, once you walked into the hotel, you felt as though you were in a resort. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. What was so unbelievable was the staff remembered our names every time we came down into the lobby. It made us feel like we were among friends. Marinella, a concierge, was very helpful prior to our arrival answering many questions, as well as booking a soccer game for us and setting up our transportation on the Buquebus going to Uruguay. In fact, all of the concierges and bell men were so friendly, yet professional. The room we stayed in was the perfect size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was great! Breakfast was buffet style or you could order off the menu. Either way, the food was very good and the buffet selection was large. The workout facility was very nice with up to date stationary bikes and ellipticals.
The location was also great. The Four Seasons is situated in Recoleta, which is a charming neighborhood with great restaurants. You have to try El Cuartito for pizza, at least for lunch. Being from Chicago, it doesn’t compare but we still enjoyed it. The place is packed with locals throughout lunch-time. Our favorite meal was at La Cabrera. It was over an hour wait on a weeknight but it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed our experience so much we wouldn’t look to stay elsewhere in Buenos Aires.
