This hotel is located within walking distance to great restaurants (like Liberdad) and banks for ATMs and shops. The service was quite good though some staff members did not speak English too well. The breakfasts (included in our price) was awful. Same watery tepid eggs and sausage daily, and bread was dried out and tasteless. But the rooms were clean and a decent "European" standard size. Service daily to the room was excellent. Safes available in each room.

The hotel is on a quiet street near many places including pedestrian plaza and the subway.

The lobby has free internet. A good breakfast is served from 7-11 am every day with several breads, cheese, ham, several variety of eggs, cereals and fresh fruit salad.

Room was immaculate and non-smoking as was requested. Air conditioning and satellite tv worked well. The clean bathroom was not air conditioned but it was acceptable without the a.c.

The city tour ($10 american) suggested by the front desk was good.

I'd recommend this place as a well located, quiet, clean place to stay that's above-average in its value.

super hotel. Excellent facilities. Cheap food in restaurant, but there is a cheap one next door. Excellent booze shop on corner of Santa Fe just 300m away out of hotel turn left. You pass a supermarket on LHS on the way - they take $US

My wife and I stayed at the Las Americanas for our Anniversary trip in April. The rooms was adequate with twin beds that we pushed together and therafter the maid made the bed up as a king. The bathroom had been remodeled and very nice. The staff was helpful with calling taxis, recomending restuarants, etc etc. The location was perfect for walking the Recoleta area and also shopping along Sante Fe St. A inexpensive cab ride to everywhere else. I would return to this hotel again.
