“Caesar Park Hotel Buenos Aires”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

Our group of 8 people stayed in this traditional luxury 5* hotel for 4 nights . The concierge was very helpful nothing was too much for him . He re booked our flights, advised about safety and recommend restaurants. The room were spacious linen were crisp and bathroom very large with shower cubicle, bath tab toilet and Bidet in one section and wash hand basin in another section. We also had powerful hair dryer. Philip 1800 .
The dining area is situated in the lobby area where buffet breakfast is placed around the room on Mahogany occasional tables.
Patio Bullrich a shopping mall, is across the road from the hotel selling mostly european label clothing ,there are a few restaurants in the mall. The hotel is in Recoleta area which is affluent

Room Tip: all rooms are good. we checked our friend's rooms and they were similar to ours

This seems like a very good choice for a visit to Buenos Aires. It is near popular sites and lots of good restaurants of all kinds. Staff was helpful but for one incident and the breakfast is extensive and good. We walked all over Buenos Aires for here but it's other advantage is being right across the street from the fancy shopping center, Patio Bullrich, which has good food court options for simple dining also.

i like the vintage style of this traditional palace, the thick carpets, the brass handles , the serviceable people who make you feel welcome back .
now it is high time to give a complete overhaul to the bathrooms ( see pictures enclosed ) they really are not up to standard anymore.
And it is good to know that if you want to have a shower in the early morning ( 5 30 am ) you need to let the water run for a few minutes before it gets warm .
the breakfast is really excellent, fresh baked pastries, good coffee, fresh fruits.. really delightfull ; and there is a small buffet if you need to leave early.
the restaurant food is fine but the menu is a bit short , probably because few people eat there and thus they do not maintain a full blown restaurant kitchen.
One sleeps well ,but if your room faces the street you might wake up early when deliveries arrive to the Bulrich mall on the other side of the street .

Room Tip: rooms on the street get the noise of the deliveries to Bullrich mall.

We arrived in B.A. in the early AM after a night flight from Miami. Our rooms were ready on arrival and everything about them was first class. The people who welcomed us were cheerful and very helpful. The beds were comfortable with top drawer linens and the bathroom was very well appointed. We stayed three nights and had breakfast each day. It was bountiful, with lots of choices and very agreeable serving people. The Concierge was pleasant and eager to be helpful. The location, immediately across the street from a major high rise shopping mall was most convenient.

I don't think things could have been much better.

If you want to be within walking distance of shopping, attractions and dining this is the hotel for you. The Patio Bullard upscale mall is right across the street and has a money exchange location on the first level. Go to francesco's for a lite lunch. Boutiques line the streets and carry a variety of leather goods and clothing. This is an upscale neighborhood so you aren't going to find any cheap souvenier shops near by. There are many restaurant options within 2 blocks. The neighborhood is very safe and we always found taxi's in the area. We did walk to the opera house, the pacifico mall, the cemetery and many more locations. But for dinner we choose to take a taxi. The hotel lobby and restaurants are very nice and the concierge and front desk staff are very helpful. The rooms are nice but there aren't really any great views. You are in a city and this hotel is surrounded by high rises. They talk about a garden view....but I wouldn't say it was beautiful. At least you aren't looking at a wall. The rooms are very nice but not luxurious.

Early February my lady and I, decided to visit our only grand daughter, newly established in an appartment in Calle Posadas and found that although Alvear Palace Hotel was close ( four or five blocks away ) this hotel was meters away. We had stayed once on one of my overnight business trips more than 10 years ago, but then did n't appreciate anything in particular. This time it was an excellent "operations center", when dining out at La Recoba with our young lady. We received very valualable support from the Concierge Octavio and his second on board.
Breakfast was very nice and sunday Brunch was a delightful occasion for a family encounter ( daughter, grand daughter and us the parents ). I would not like to skip praising the lady who took care of our room who was most profesionally outstanding..

Room Tip: My room looked at Patio Bullrich on Posadas and altough I ignore if it was the simplest room it was...

Front desk service was ok. Lobby is nice. Restaurant food was good. Elevators are slow. Rooms are bland. Curtains were dragging on the floor. Bathrooms had good hot water but were showing age with rust, corrosion and grout falling out of the tile. Would not stay here again.
