“Great stay at Sileo Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Lovely, huuuuge luxurious rooms with kichenette area. Helpful, English speaking staff. Good location just next to Recoleta cemetery, the number 1 attraction in BsAs. A great base to explore BsAs. Good breakfast buffet selection.

Great experience overall.

Brand new, luxury hotel situated in one of the best areas of the city. The multilingual, friendly staff, the spotlessly clean rooms, a first class breakfast and convenient location made our 8 day stay in Buenos Aires a truly memorable holiday.

Not a single complaint! The Sileo had everything we needed: great location, close to restaurants/bars/shopping/markets, friendly service and an awesome view at a great price. They even provided outlet converters. Highly recommended if you want to stay at Recoleta! The kitchenette was a plus!

Great location, opposite the cemetery and only a short walk to the main shopping area of Rocoletta and to the main bus thoroughfares. The shower is great and they also have a sauna on site. It is a beautifully designed hotel

I chose this hotel on the basis of the excellent reviews and good value for the money. I also did some satellite surveys regarding the location.I was not disappointed. Everything in the hotel is spotless and brand new. The size of the room is adequate although not a 4 star level. The small kitchen area is handy for a late snack. The service was excellent. As a bonus they let me park my car in their private space saving me at least $20 per day. Don't let the closeness to the cemetery fool you. The area around the Regoleta Cemetery is one of the most animated of Buenos Aires with numerous pubs and restaurants and a favourite hangout of young people. The most fun you can have around a cemetery. I would avoid the restaurants in the immediate area as they tend to be too touristic with annoying waiters at the entrace inviting you in. We were not impressed by the local steak house. The Regoleta is an upscale neigborood very safe and pleasant to explore. It is my favourite residential area of BA.

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for a view of the cemetery. On the 9th floor terrace you can have as much cemete...

We got penthause on the 8th floor. View is strange, nice if you don't mind to see crypts and cemetery.
Price is $250 a night +20% tax, it is kinda to much at my taste.
We came late ,so maybe that was the reason why minibar was empty. No coffee,no tea..hmm I would expect to have these little things when you pay for the best room.

Breakfast goes till 11, but even at 10-30 you can find empty plates with nothing. Eggs and ham go out first,so if you come late you get nothing special.
Pool is dirty ,I didn't risk to use it. Same with sauna.
People are nice, reception speak English and they are good.
Overall is not bad, but for this money I could get nice Marriott room without any doubts.

Our room overlooked Recoletta Cemetery, a sea of mausoleums, tall cedars, and flowering bushes. The balcony was spacious with two chairs - great to sit and sip a great Malbec at the end of a busy day. The room, too, was spacious and the efficient kitchenette gave us the opportunity to savor local delicacies from the pastry shop. Staff were helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about sites to see. Florentia gave us great info about Art Nouveau & Deco buildings to visit. Highly recommend this hotel
