“Great stay, great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We stayed in this apartment for five days over New Years 2013. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. It had a small balcony overlooking a nice tree lined street in Palermo and dark black out blinds so we got a great sleep in. Palermo is fantastic and a perfect neighbourhood to stay in. The apartment was pricey but prices in BsAs are high and especially Palermo is not cheap, but we were glad we splashed out and felt very safe in this area. The kitchen is good so we cooked at home a lot during our stay. The service is also really good and there is carparking. Would highly recommend.

here i'm for the first time in Buenos Aires and after staying at this apartment i Will recommend it to everybody. There is no need to stay at big hotel because in this place you have everything. It is in very good neighborhood so you can go for shopping or make a reservation in nice restaurant. There is a metro&bus station few blocks away. In the evening you can go for a walk just trough your street and you will be ok. Good kitchen appliances, comfort bed, terrace for smokers, toilet clean. After all we got help from stuff with making all touristic reservations that we need.

This apartment had everything I needed for a 10-day stay. The kitchenette appears to be sparsely furnished, but actually has everything one needs, including a microwave, kettle, coffee percolator, toaster, normal size fridge and two-plate stove. The complimentary bathroom toiletries are quite sparse, and consisted of two small bars of soap and less than a full roll of loo paper for a whole week. The room I had was spacious with a comfortable double bed, big TV, good aircon and a two-seater dining table.

The reason I say it has the potential to be great is firstly because of the construction going on right next door. It is literally right next to the outer wall of the apartment I had and for some reason the builders find it absolutely necessary to start a piercing hammering activity for about five minutes first thing in the morning (as in before 7 am), after which they go off and do something else, still noisy, but not of the give-hotel-guests-a-heart-attack variety. Why they can't save that token hammering for some more civilised hour is a mystery. The other problem with these apartments is that they just generally have no soundproofing at all. The floor covering is laminated wood flooring, which is a nightmare when there is someone in the apartment above. Every footstep, dropped coin, kicked off shoe, dragged item of furniture (what DO people get up to in hotel rooms?) and much worse is very audible below. The doors also slam closed very loudly because of the lock system they have on. If this could be addressed as part of a future remodelling, it would make a huge difference, but I fear that is not imminent as the place is really still quite new. I suppose it would help to ask for a room on the very top floor...

Although this is not a hotel, there is someone at the front desk 24/7 - either a doorman or a security guard. The ladies who manage the place are also only an e-mail away and will arrange tickets, call taxis, provide an ironing board, and do anything else needed for a pleasant stay.

There is a small supermarket right next door, a much bigger one half a block away and a top restaurant on the corner of the block. It's quite far away from the main attractions such as Recoleta or Belgrano and it's too far to walk to the port to catch a ferry, for example, but the Palermo area itself is very nice. Taxis are easy to get though.

I would recommend staying here provided you need to be up and about by 7 am because of the noise, but in all other respects these are very nice apartments.

Room Tip: Perhaps try the top floor?

We stayed in a nice apartment in a good location in Palermo. It was a better value than staying in a hotel. Because it's an apartment building, rather than a hotel, they do not have full-time front desk staff; you need to make an appointment to check in or check out. The heat didn't work in our room; when we complained about it they gave us a space heater.

Lovely, clean, new apartments. The room for "4 people" was probably more for three- a studio apartment, though spacious, had a king size bed, a rollaway single bed and a couch.
Great location- quiet tree lined street in the middle of Palermo.
Staff speak limited english but are helpful.
Was a fantastic, luxurious place to stay, and for the four of us we only paid a bit more than for twin rooms at a hostel!
