Description: It was established in 2002 with a clear concept of Parrilla-Cantina, the best home cooking from Buenos Aires with a great taste. There was not another place with such proposal. The gratitude of the people was evident and definitive. It is de kind of reliable restaurant. It never fails, a real solution when is time to choose a good place to eat out. It is a good, modern, warm and lovely environment, open to the public, wide spectrum. It is a familiar place, for medium or big friend tables, couples and lonely clients. The cutlery is constantly rotating thanks to an instructed and oiled service. La Dorita announces. People call more people. They already know what they are going to look for, the best meat, made with great care. It is presented stylishly and without pretentious, the dishes of red-hot iron leaned on planks, land over the table offering a warm moment, whetting your appetite. The portions are abundant. The detail of the color is the typical penguins and a bottle where the wine comes from wineries of first quality, served from barrels in full view of everyone. The home-made desserts are the perfect close of the service, dynamic and kind. La Dorita offers a good relation between quality-price and that is how, the restaurant gaing fidelity with the reliable clients. These characteristics become this restaurant into a place where you can go daily. The client is satisfied. La Dorita is the best option to eat well every day.

“delightful meats, rustic decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We visit La Dorita on a Sunday, typical family day, but despite the crowd the waiting time was really short an the service could mantain its standard. The best thing to ask here are the meats. The sirloin steak is served as you require and always has the proper cooking point. Salads, pastas and some traditional Argentinian plates, as milanesas are all well and generously presented but the theme is meat, and it is superb. Food prices are ok, in line with the inflationary process but the mistake is the abusive markup in the wine list. That way they invite you to abstinence, but "parrilla" and Coke don't mix very well. Notwhistanding the wine matter a very positive and tasteful experience.

“Nothing too fancy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Came here and thought it would be a bit busier. They took us at what they told us was their last reservation at 9:30 but the place was pretty empty which was fine because we thought the large staff would be attentive. We chose a spot in the corner next to the window, which had empty tables around it. Another couple sat almost on top of us a few minutes later. They were given bread and we were waiting for ours and our server to take our order. I should have ordered the Ojo since it looked amazing and the bite I had also tasted great! I ordered the skirt steak which is a bit fattier cut and didn't do La Dorita justice. The service was slow and not very attentive. Good to try but probably won't be headed there again.

“Great neighborhood place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but liked it so much we went back! The food is excellent, simple and unpretencious. The service is friendly and fast. We took our two kids (a one and a 6 year old), who made a mess of the place (of course), but the staff didn't blink and attended to all our needs.

“Great place for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012

One of many restaurants we ate at while visiting Buenos Aires. We found it very enjoyable and a good meal.

The restaurants in the Palermo neighborhood are generally very good in comparison to other parts of town. We found Puerto Madero to be expensive and overpriced in comparison.

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

We visited this restaurant for both lunch and dinner several times.
Lunch time they have Menu Executivo for 50 pesos (main course + side + drink) or 60 pesos (starter + main course + side + dessert+ drink). We tried both pastas, milanesas, bifes and salads - and all was delicious. In the evening we had empanadas, chorizo (sausage), bife de lomo, and bife de chorizo with chimichurri. Excellent meat and nice athmosphere and service.
