“EXCELENT WEEKEND BREAK 40 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE CITY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

We"ve been to Intercontinental Nordelta with my husband two weeks ago. Everything was great. The room was spacious and beautifully apointed, with a magnificent bay view. The bathroom was great. We had dinner at the restaurant, called Root, and the food was excelllent. Very nice bar for drinks, and very good breakfast indeed. There are several restaurants nearby, tha can be reached by foot, an also a beutiful open shopping mall with more resataurants 300 meters away.
There is also a spa in the last floor of the hotel. You can take massages or there is a pool with jacuzzis where to relax and treat yourself.

Room Tip: Ask for the ones with bay view.

We spent one week in this hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff offers good service. The location is perfect IF you have something around, like friends and family, otherwise you should stay in down town. There are some golf courses close by (Nordelta, Pacheco, Hacoaj, Marinas, etc) which are good options if you are a golfer.

If you are looking to relax this is the place. This is in a new development in Tigre and there are many condos, shops and restaurants going in. Behind the hotel is a small lake that leads out to the delta. There are pleasure boats, water birds and beautiful views. it is a little out of BA proper. The hotel staff was great and the pool and resaurant were very relaxing.

Room Tip: get a delta view room. sun rise is spectacular

Early summer is no guarantee of sunshine and for our visit a week ago it rained every day the impressive complex is only two years old and built on a tributary in the delta close to the town of Tigre,it is a complete modernisation of the area and the hotel is the star property of a delightful harbour setting surrounded by restaurants and shops and newly built condo's for those lucky enough to afford them. The lobby is set to the left upon entry and has an open atrium with rooms to each side,it is bright and airy and affords views directly across the harbour with its sail boats and cabin cruisers. In the foreground there is a layered terrace leading down to a swimming pool. The bar is spacious and serves up great cocktails and one of the best Pisco sours I have had in a long time, adjacent to that there is the restaurant open daily with a buffet breakfast and of course for lunch and dinner.Occasionally the hotel closes all such facilities for private functions and does not appear to concern themselves about resident guests who are politely asked to find meals in other restaurants locally. In a four day stay this happened twice to us and I think management need to think again.Beyond that singular infraction the hotel is very nice,as A Royal Ambassador member we were upgraded for our stay to a corner suite on the sixth floor close to their Spa,we tried out the heated swimming pool there and a unique barrier between inside and outside it is a second or more to swim beneath a divider until you reach the outside.for us we went from a warm sealed environment to cold air and rain which was a refreshing blast to our faces.
Still with teething troubles and anxious for business there are daily deals and also for weekends so my advise is to check locally before booking. In the height of summer I am sure it will be full to capacity.I enjoyed the experience and will be happy to return again. We would like to single out a staff member for particular praise and that was Alejandro Scherzer whom we had known from the Federal Capital location, his good nature had assured us all was a memorable trip…………….

Room Tip: Check local listing for specials being offered over weekends and join the hotel guest program which...

Stayed here for 4 days in January and had a great time, the hotel was very nice although I'd did need a few repairs in places, the service was very good and very friendly also, the only thing that let it down was that the meals did not seem to be as good as expected for the brand. The quality of the room and the quality of sleep in the bed I had was excellent

What really made the stay worth while was the the location on the hotel and the quality of the restaurants around and about as well as the shopping centre just along the road

I would definitely recommend this hotel to any world travelers

My husband and I stayed a weekend and we absolutely enjoyed it. Helpful and kind service. Our room was a double superior.however, for just some more bucks, you can get an oustanding suite with a nice terrace overlooking the river.
Beautiful views. Wonderful breakfast included. We'll come back.
