“Just superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

You must visit here if you are in BsAs. It would have Michelin stars in London and the food wine combinations are exceptional. Very relaxed atmosphere in this closed door restaurant with intimate service from the owners. Food combinations and presentation truly unique. Go.

“Fantastic Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

The food was absolutely amazing. The concept is very novel (closed door restaurant). The wine pairing was great. Plus the relaxed vibe made is even more enjoyable. the desert was fantastic.

“5 stars for the sommelier”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

An amazing wine drinking experience. The sommelier was awesome. Introduced us to amazing variety of A plus wines. It was great to come here at the beginning of our stay in BA, so we knew which wines to order for the rest of our trip! The food was good too- really creative and unique concepts but the execution was just good (not incredible). The wine really steals the day here.

“Gorgeous food and wine in a lovely setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

Had a wonderful experience at Casa Coupage. I opted for the full degustation with 7 matching wines (590ARG total) and my friend ordered a la carte but had 5 wines matched to his courses. Santiago and the lovely waitress who served us were very happy to accommodate 2 quite different dining experiences at one table.
The food was exciting - my highlight was a venison tartare which was almost creamy. I would never order a tartare usually so I was delightfully surprised that I loved it so much! The dessert was beautifully presented and appropriately light after so much food but was probably my least favourite dish - but that's just a personal taste thing!
The best part of the night for me was the paired wines. Santiago (owner and sommelier) was so warm and engaging and this really added to the whole experience. He explained things so well, but made it all very accessible. The pourings were extremely generous - equivalent to a whole glass of wine so bear that in mind if you're not a big drinker! Great quality wines and Santiago was happy to try another one for you if you didn't like the first choice.
The venue itself is a stately old home - enormous ceilings with a very elegant feel. Lovely!
We had a great night at Casa Coupage and I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Casa Coupage experience. The food was lovely, service excellent and the wine and sommelier's advice really made it a worthwhile experience.
