We had a meal here in October 2012. One of the best meals we had in South America. We came here to try the famous Argentine steak and we were not disappointed. We were lucky to get the last table as everyone behind us was in for a long wait. The restaurant itself is an old butchery with old tiles and tools creating nice decor.
The steak was fantastic, huge and came accompanied by three dressings which were amazing. The hardest part was trying to decide which was our favourite. We ordered sides which were very good but barely touched them as the steak was huge.
The staff were very friendly and recommended a nice bottle of wine (at the lower end of the budget!). We also got a courtesy glass of bubbly which was a nice touch as did the people waiting for a table.
We left at midnight and people were still queuing for tables which shows how good it is. We paid about $45 dollars for 2 mains, 2 sides and a bottle of wine - excellent value.
