“Awesome bistro in Buenos Aries. Not touristy. Awesome place.”
After you’re finished seeing the sights at the Recoleta Cemetery, pop over to Florencio Bistro located just a few blocks away, tucked away on a small side street.
Stepping into Florencio Bistro was like walking into a quaint little café in Europe. The place was small (about 150 square feet at the most) and had room for about 11 people to sit comfortably, but the atmosphere was perfectly quiet; it felt like a hug.
Florencio served up wine by the glass or bottle and amazing pastries and coffee. We had a bottle of Malbec for U$S 12, alfajores, cortados, and simply one of the best pieces of cheesecake ever – caramel cheesecake covered in chocolate and caramel.
Florencio Bistro is a MUST visit for anyone visiting Buenos Aires that needs a pick-me-up after visiting the cemetery. Or, if you are just jonesin’ for a great place to sit, relax, eat, and drink Malbec.
