We ate at El Federal and had a fantastic lunch. The decor of the place is very rustic and replicates the true Agrengtina (covered cowhide chairs, ructic furniture, etc.), but yet seems very contemporary at the same time. Very unique and one of a kind design on lighting, furniture, and even some of the bathroom fixtures. Everything we ate was excellent. We started off with three empanadas (one meat, one cheese, and one some other mixture) and they were so good we had to get another helping of them. I had the the beef plate that has wonderfully cooked or smoked mushrooms, potatoes, and other vegatables in somewhat of a broth (it didn't have the heavy texture of a stew, but it wasn't a soup either, but it was good, which is what really matters anyway), my wife had the grilled chicken salad, which was huge and wonderful, and our friend has lamb (looked somewhat like lamb chops with seaoning and sauce). All the food was excellent!! We also had a fantatstic desert, which was really a combination of 4 or 5 dulce's prepared in different ways (coconut flan, a crepe type thing, etc.). The waiter was extremely friendly and th service wasd very good. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!!
