The Garden is an outstanding B & B in Buenos Aires. Pamela (the owner) and her staff are incredible, and the rooms have many extra little touches which made our stay outstanding. We stayed at the Garden about 11 nights in total, and we were able to enjoy both of the rooms during our stay. Pamela has gone to great lengths to make sure her guests are as comfortable as possible, with extras such as heated floors (in one bathroom), instant hot water, plush towels, immaculately clean rooms, in-room safes and refrigerators, first class bathrooms with bidets, great breakfasts prepared to accomodate our schedule, airport pick-up and return, and many other special touches. The location is very convenient to all of the attractions of BA, and lots of good restauruants are within a short walk (10 - 15 minutes) from the Garden in San Telmo. Cabs are readily available by simply walking out the front door, and you can go practically anywhere in BA for $3 - $7 U.S. We highly recommend the Garden for anyone who is looking for a great B & B with fantastic service and great attention to all of the details.

If you want to truly experience Buenos Aires, you have to try The Garden B&B in the heart of San Telmo. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and spotless. Many luxurious details are added too, such as down bedding, beautiful handmade soaps, and fresh flowers in your room. We stayed in the room called “Nuez” and it looked just as lovely as it did in the pictures posted on Bedandbreakfast.com. All the rooms, including the living room, open up to a spacious and peaceful courtyard with beautiful plants and vines. Breakfast is a special treat, with homemade banana muffins and an assortment of local jams and spreads. We especially enjoyed the “dulce de leche” spread. Although we had absolute privacy, Pamela (the owner) was always available. The house is located just a few blocks away from the famous Plaza Dorrego, where there are many antique shops and great restaurants to explore. The rest of BA’s attractions are just a short cab ride away. We highly recommend it.

It is a fun indoor-outdoor house with wonderful private patios and gardens, but the true reason to stay here is the personal interaction. We enjoyed Pamela’s company (plus her kids and dogs) so much we hated to leave. We had a wonderful stay and we are now planning our return trip to Buenos Aires and will stay with Pamela.
