My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time when we spent five nights at the Miravida Hotel. The great reviews this little 6 room hotel are getting are right on. The location is great and the owner, Jim, and his staff are extremely helpful and super nice. I prefer not to repeat what's already been written about this place but would like to point out a few things.
First, the decor and furniture of the hotel is very well done, very comfortable and with a solid attention to detail. Our bed and linen was so comfortable that we had trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Second, the hotel is well located in a quiet street in Palermo but easily accessible to all of Palermo Soho and a few minutes walk to the subway, Santa Fe, Zoo, and Plaza Italia. Its just a short subway or cab ride away from Barrio Norte or Microcentro. Third, the wine bar and its selection of wines by the glass is a fantastic way to experience and learn about Argentine wines in a quiet, cost effective manner. Jim and his staff are knowledgeable about the wine and this is a great place to learn a bit, especially if you don't speak Spanish. Set up a tasting. Fourth, we stayed in the suite and enjoyed the extra space the extra room afforded us. The other rooms are fine for shorter stays but I'm glad we got the suite for our stay. Lastly, the restaurant is no longer operating so there is no problem with noise (a problem raised by other reviewers) and the websites photos don't really do the place justice so I have added a few more. I would recommend this place to friends and plan on returning. Enjoy.
