We had amaizing time in this place on our honeymoon!!!!!
it's in the best location, there is a young man called Zohar that know everithing about the city and he is very nice.
In the hotel there is everithing you need and the service makes it just perfect!!!
The hotel is very clean, the people are very nice and pleasant, the service was excellent.
the hotel is situated in the center of the city, all in a walking distance, or bus and taxi are available 24/7.
I rented a place here first time I came to BA, and it was a terrible experience. First of all, at $1200 or even $1400 for a studio the place is WAY overpriced and basically a scam. The second time I came to BA I got an apt. a few blocks away for $800 a month that was bigger (basically a one-bedroom) and just as modern, in an area I would say is better. If you want to pay that much, for $1300 you can get a place on two floors in Palermo Hollywood, or a nice one-bedroom in Palermo Alto.
Second, and this is even more important, the service is terrible. I was told the apt. came with a phone, but I didn't get the phone for the first three weeks, and I had to ask for it a number of times. Worst of all, you will be living with the rental agency in this building and they will find a pretext to harass you and get on your case almost daily about something. But if you need something, they won't DO anything for you after you've paid them. Basically if you want to rent from rude/creepy/officious people who will live in the same building and give you a weekly headache, go ahead.
I wasn't the only one who had this experience, a French woman was staying there at the same time I was. She was not renting monthly, but day-by-day, and she told me she was getting calls *daily* or more about paying--this, despite the fact that she was a well-off journalist who presented no risk and who had been paying on time. Basically, you will feel as if you're living in a cheap car sales office with insane, rude people running it.
My partner and I stayed at Cabello Square for a week at the end of May. Really can't find a downside to staying here. Very heplful staff (Zohar and Diego); great location (restaurants all around, supermarket down the street); wireless and cable worked perfectly; clean, modern, and quiet; helpful doormen. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, primarily because of the location but no less because of the friendly and helpful staff. Buenos Aires is a wonderful, cosmopolitan city. We had so many positive interactions with people, who were friendly and open. Many people speak a little English. We walked around with our Spanish phrase book and were able to get by without any problems. People seemed to appreciate our attempts to speak Spanish and many seemed enthusiastic to practice their English. Cabs were plentiful (the Radio taxi - orange and black are the official cabs) and inexpensive. The subway (Subte) was convenient and easy to use. I've fallen in love with BA...it's a great city, and Cabello Square is a terrific base from which to explore the city.
