As with the other reviews, this is a lovely place to stay. The girls working there are so helpful. Clara did an amazing job of organising our transport to Uruguay, where we had booked accommodation in Colonia and Montevideo. The area is interesting with a couple of great bars/restaurants and a really good tango show just 5 minutes' walk away. The Underground is really close and we used it quite a bit and it's really cheap. We stayed 5 nights and then 3 nights in Palermo. If you have enough time, it's good to start in those 2 areas, as they are very different. If I only had a short time, I probably wouldn't stay in Boedo, just because there are other areas where you can walk to sites, rather than relying on transport. The other little negative with the area is there aren't a large number of restaurants, so if you just want to go out at night for a quick meal, your choices are limited, but admittedly we were happy to go to a couple of our favourites more than once and it was great to be in an authentic area, rather than a touristy spot.
