We recently stayed three days at Estancia La Martina after five days in Buenos Aires. The service was wonderful and the grounds were lovely. We felt compelled to write a review noting what we thought were some of the negatives.
When we arrived, they attempted to put us into small, dingy, drab, and miserable rooms. We said no, and they showed us slightly better rooms. We refused those also, and then they put us into nice rooms which they had originally claimed were all occupied, when in fact they were all empty.
The food was pretty good, not outstanding. As we mentioned above, the help was solicitous. The tennis court was not in good condition. There was no polo to play or being played, but we were able to ride whenever we wanted, unescorted, throughout the grounds. The horses were well trained and easy to ride.
