We were a party of meat eaters and one vegan. I am the one who made the dinner arrangements. I thought given the price point of the place, that it is at a health-focused resort, and that there are plenty of vegetable sides on the menu that their "chef" would be able to accommodate one veggie guest in the group. But I was wrong. The server announced what the "chef" was able to offer for veggie starter and entree. It was just pathetic. I am not a cook and even I can grill up vegetables without butter but apparently the Core chef is unable.
My guest laughed off the pitiful food and washed it down with some $100 Chardonnay. But I was embarrassed. The prices are in line with other resorts. We spent much more on dinner than we did on our suite. At those prices I expect better service from the chef.
