We booked through our Timeshare organisation.
The resort is in a nice setting close to the sea and most rooms have a sea view as there are two beaches, the resort is on a peninsula. Some of the pathways around the resort are quite steep and not easily negotiable for a wheelchair (although we did see a wheelchair user). The outside areas are tidy and the gardens are lovely. There are lots of walkways and loads of sunbeds with covers and umbrellas giving shade.
Staff go out of their way to be friendly to guests and are helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean, although occasionally they were not cleaned every day. Towels were changed, sometimes daily and sometimes after 4 or 5 days. You do need to take beach towels as the resort does not provide them. Hairdryers are supplied in the rooms and the timeshare appartments are well equipped. There is entertainment for adults and children. Watersports are available.
The three outdoor pools (one of which has three levels) vary in temperature and one is seawater. The indoor pool was quite warm and there is a high level of humidity.
The food - the salads and desserts are to die for. The main courses were a little overcooked and a little lacking in meet and fish (Buffet style). The A La Carte Restaurant was not open as it was being refurbished. We ordered A La Carte in the main restaurant. The service was excellent one night but completely collapsed the following night and at least four parties complained. The kitchen seemed disorganised when supplying the A La Carte food. However, when it arrived it was excellent (steak cuts are not always as described).
We enjoyed our stay, it is a good resort for families.
