“Memorable view and quality apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

The photos are precisely the apartment and views you will enjoy. Great infinity pool which is some 15 metres in length (good for exercise). This has easily been the best apartment and location we have stayed at in several visits to Turkey. The little beach below should be highlighted more as it was invariably deserted and great for snorkelling. The contours of the coastline mean there is interest around each corner. The Kudur peninsula across the bay is protected from any further development and worth exploring.
We enjoyed the stunning sun set views from the seafront restaurants in Yalikavak (12 minutes by car or Dolmus), but also the nearby Zeytin Alti restaurant which offered simple good quality Turkish food.

“Great Apartment, Amazing Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

The apartment was lovely. Very well equipped, with nice bedrooms, bathrooms and a great kitchen. Very clean. The private terraces had amazing uninterrupted views out over the bay, which where wonderful to sit on at night with a glass of wine.

The complex itself was lovely. There was a nice infinity pool with stunning views out over the bay, and BBQ's around for people to use. Very quiet even in peak season which was great for us. Also a really beautiful beach, and rocky areas to be discovered within a 5 minute walk.

There was a dolmus which travelled into Yalikavak about every half an hour, from two bus stop's, one of which was 5 minutes walk, the other 10. Both involved a relatively steep hill, with steps. OK without bags, but when coming back with shopping, or when dealing with luggage, pretty tiring to be honest. This compromise means you have amazing views.

The Bodrum peninsula itself was great. Lot's of activities to do, and plenty of nice places to see. Yalikavak itself is quite a posh port town. Lot's of wealthy turks there. We did find it slightly pricey in areas as a result, but if you shop around you can still find what you need for a good price. Avoid the supermarkets. They are expensive. The Thursday market in Yalikavak is well worth a visit. Really exciting. We would also recommend a scuba diving trip. Great value for money considering it combines a boat trip day, with your lunch, and then obviously the scuba diving itself, for not much more than a boat trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Ephesus/Pummakalle overnight tour, however be aware this is quite tiring as there is a lot of travelling- but well worth it. Overall- we liked Yalikavak, but may next time choose somewhere a bit closer to Bodrum as this is where most of the tours head out of - so we would have saved all the time involved in pickups on tour days.

If you decide to go here- there is a great little restaurant at the bottom of the hill which is considerably cheaper than in town, but is really delicious. You walk to the main road (where you can catch the dolmus from) a the bottom of the hill, and then head up the main road in the opposite direction to town. It's a couple of hundred metres up the road round a corner.

A car might make you stay slightly easier if you come here, as it would save the hastle of waiting for the right dolmus. When getting one from town, only the one on the hour took you to the top road, which was a short 5 minute stroll downhill to the apartment when you get off. The one at half past took you to the bottom road, which was a very steep and tiring 10 minute walk up hill when you got off.

Overall we had a great honeymoon. Very relaxing. The apartment was great. Location was beautiful. Lots to do on the Bodrum peninsula.

If you go here, you will have a very quiet, relaxing holiday

“Fantastic apartment with stunning views and infinity pool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012 for a stay in November 2012

This apartment exceeded our expectations. Very homely with a great well equipped kitchen and an amazing balcony with stunning views over the bay towards Yalikavak.

The apartment is up a steep hill and is about an hours walk from the main centre of Yalikavak so you will need a car, however, the views that it offers, the well appointed clean and modern apartment and great infinity pool make up for the slight inconvenience of not being within walking distance of amenities.

Yalikavak itself it a really pretty fishing town with some great (and cheap!) restaurants, friendly locals and has a charm that Bodrum lacks.

Overall - a great place to stay and thoroughly recommended.

“Apartment with the most stunning & best view in Yalikavak!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

We recently returned from our 2 week holiday in Yalikavak, with my husband and 2 children, aged 13 & 11. This was our second time in the Bluewater Bay apartments, but this apartment was by far the best, furnished to a high standard and feeling like a home from home. The balcony is large with lovely teak furniture with cushions and it has the most amazing views, so waking up to this every morning was a pleasure! The apartment also overlooks the infinity pool which is shared with a few of the other apartments, but there was never too many people and this is where my 2 kids spent most of their holiday. The turkish people in Yalikavak are very friendly and there are plenty of good restaurants to try including Sofia's and Musti's steakhouse. Going further afield, as we had hired a car, we visited many of the towns on the Bodrum peninsular, Turkbuku is a must and is about a 20 mins drive and Bodrum is about 30 mins, but well worth a few visits.
We would definitely return to this apartment and to Yalikavak, and we can highly recommend it. The owners were very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We had a fabulous time!

“It doesn't get much better than this.”

Stayed here for 14 wonderful nights in Jul/Aug 2012 and the Villa was brilliant. All the comforts of home with lovely furniture and 2 bathrooms, A/c along with the amazing infinity pool but ahh that view.....................incredible.
The villa is very clean, beds are comfortable and the large balcony is fantastic to watch the boats pass by, read a book & enjoy a glass of wine.
E3 Blue Water is about 5k from Yalikavak centre and although there is a dolmus every hour out by the main road I feel a car is a must if you want to discover the greater Bodrum area.
A dolums into town is good value at 2Lira pp and a taxi back will cost around 20, you can hire a car from about 50+lira per day.
The villa is perched on a steep hill and it can be a little tricky to get up on foot or by car but this is the price you pay for paradise.
Down by the marina you will find many restaurants, shops and outlets to book tours, boat trips and hire cars. The Turkish people are very friendly and I did not have one bad meal nor bad experience.
Some must do's during your stay would be a tour of Bodrum Castle, a boat trip to the surrounding islands, dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants to watch the sunset and check out Market day in Yalikavak on thursdays, lots of fresh fruit and hand made goods,
I thoroughly recommend a stay at E3 Blue water and I thank you Kathy for your wonderful Villa and ease of booking.

“Fabulous Apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

We have recently returned from a fabulous 12 day stay. Despite being slightly out of town the peace and quiet, together with the cooling breeze, by far outweigh the location being up a fairly steep hill. The views from the terrace/pool are amazing and everything in the apartment is to a high standard and you will want for nothing. Yalikavak centre is easily accessible and we used the very reliable ½ hourly Dolmus from the bottom of the hill each evening costing 2 TL each to the many excellent harbour and shore-side restaurants returning by taxi for 20 TL. The owners were delightful and efficient to deal with and we would highly recommend this property.

My husband and I have travelled to Turkey many times and have visited some beautifull places ,Yalikavak however is by far the best . With excellent restaurants, friendly locals and views to die for this is one place we will definately return to as soon as we possibly can.
The views from the apartment were exceptional looking out across the bay .It has a fabulous pool area ,much bigger than we expected and the apartment is very spacious too with 2 double bedrooms . We found it incredibly easy to book and communication from the owner was exceptional. A definate thumbs up !
