My girlfriend and I have never revisited the same place twice when it comes to travelling with the exception of Oludeniz! It really is an incredible place but one of the main reasons of revisiting was to stay at the Morina Hotel. It lives up to every recommendation and review and now with the new renovation (offering even more privacy) has got so much better. The staff are so friendly, always smiling and making you feel very welcome. The entire hotel is always spotless with fresh towels in the room ever day. The grounds of the hotel are dotted with aloe vera plants, roses and palm trees, maintained by the best gardener/strongest man in Turkey!
The majority of the hotel is marble which keeps the hotel nice and cool on the really hot days.

This time at the Morina, we went half board(for the first time) which included breakfast and a 3 course dinner. The breakfast was a large buffet Turkish breakfast which sets you up for the day. It included eggs, a few different cheeses, bread, cereal, olives, cold meats, honey etc.
There was always more of everything and a great way to wake up. You could also order an English breakfast and everything else breakfasty for an extra, very fair charge(cheaper then most places in town).
The dinner was our favourite, we really did not know what to expect as it was such a small charge to go half board as oppose to bed and breakfast. All the courses were of such high quality with everything you would need with really good portions. We got our mains with chips salad and rice with different types of meat including the freshest fish. Dinner was served by a really nice waiter who would make sure you have everything you need. You can tell that a lot of effort goes into the food at the Morina and it is easy to find yourself looking forward to dinner by midday!
The Morina can be a very romantic setting, especially at night, so an extra recommendation to couples.

We stayed in a sea view room on the top floor and noticed that there is no other hotel which has a view like the Morina. The majority of the other hotels are on the flat and look onto other hotels/streets so if your looking for a breath taking view every time you look out your window (especially 2nd/3rd floor) the Morina is the place. We found ourselves making sure we had plenty of time in the morning and the evening to relax on the balcony and take it all in. We also noticed it had no immediate roads around which added to the peace.

The Morina's position is a great quality, its on a very slight hill which takes about 2 minutes to walk up from the nearest flat area and we had no problem with it at all. The beach is about a ten minute walk which is down a very peaceful street with a few restaurants. With a 1 minute detour to the left, you can take a much more lively street to the beach, where you can find lots of different restaurants, stores and boutiques. There is lots to offer on this street where haggling can get you very far, its a normal part of there business so barter hard and you shall get very good prices on everything. For a nice drink/meal in town, I'd recommend the 'Las Vegas' roof terrace (don't be put off by the name) and for buying water, go to the small corner shop opposite the glass front supermarket, you can get 5Litres for 2tl.

We had such a great stay and would recommend to everyone, Thanks to the hotel, the staff and the sun.

Room Tip: All rooms look good but I would go for one on the top floor

What a stunning location, mountain and sea views.10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants but the food at the hotel was so good there is no need to walk in to town if you don't want to.Rooms have been refurbished and further improvements are planned. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. One unusual point is that I was there for 15 days and never heard anyone complain about a single issue (unusual for us Brits ).Overall a super relaxing holiday, going back in September.

Room Tip: Don't let the cheep prices put you off

My partner and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Morina Hotel. The hotel is on the edge of the resort up a hill that would not suit people with walking difficulties. But it was perfect for us, away from the bustle of the resort centre and superb views over the bay. Pool and bar area lovely.
Our room was in the new block, comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily by the hard working cleaners and the towels although they had seen better days were changed daily.
The hotel staff organised our transfers from and to Dalaman Airport. This was a 5 star service without the price tag.
The reort of Olu Deniz was disappointing, it didn't feel much like Turkey but the beaches especially Sun City Beach more than made up for this (Beware there is charge to enter but this works out cheaper than paying for the entry into the Lagoon with the hire of sunbeds and brolly).
Food ok, we would have prefered more authentic Turkish cuisine. We would reccommend Chiti Cafe on on the main road into the resort (this is where the Turkish eat) and Oyster Residence on the sea front (a little more expensive than others but well worth it and in comparission with UK prices reasonable). If you like to eat fish dont miss the fish market in Fethiye!!!
Boat trip excellent value for money, we would reccomend seeing Mehmet at Guide Tours.

Room Tip: Request rooom in the new block with a sea view, costs a little more but well worth it.

Have just returned from 2 weeks at the Morina. We had been to other parts of Turkey beore but this was a first time at Oludeniz, and we had a fantastic time, the hotel was lovely, staff very friendly. Although the rooms were small, they were clean tidy, shower fantastic what more does anyone want. the view from the room over the pool and the mountains was lovely.I understand the rooms overlooking the sea are bigger but I personally prefer the mountain views.
We had a wonderful relaxing holday and cannot wait to go back. The food at the hotel is very good and You are within walking distance of some lovely restaurants. The two we visited the most was the Secret Garden and Captain Hooks both served lovely meals at a reasonable price.
See you all next year Helen and Keith

I came home last night from my second lovely holiday in Olu Deniz at the Morina Hotel. I travel alone and I think the place is beautiful. The scenery and the beauty of where it is situated is just lovely. It is always peaceful and the staff work hard to make you happy. The food is good, the rooms are cleaned every day, the gardens are immaculate and the views from all angles of the hotel are beautiful. If you get a clean room, a balcony, a bed and a good shower then what more to you want? The price for that is unbelievable. Love to you all and I will see you all again one day for sure. Carol xxxxx

Room Tip: I have only stayed in two rooms (having only been there twice) and both were adequate for me. There...
