“A very friendly and easy hotel to relax in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2011

We only had four days and checking in was very simple, the room was small but adequate. The gardens are simply beautiful and the ambiance was very easy to make one feel comfortable. Breakfast was typically Turkish and if you wanted a "full English " it was available for a supplement of 9tl (about £4.00)
We were given a very easy time there and if we are to return to Oludeniz, we will book back at Hotel Morina.

got back 2 weeks ago, had a great time. didnt expect too much as it s only a 2 star hotel, and we were very pleasantly suprised. its lovely, beautiful views from the pool and in a quiet location, yet only 10 mins from the beach. room was always kept very clean, just wish we could have stopped for 2 weeks instead of 1. jeep safari is£15, a great day out, be warned , u will get wet, so be careful with your camera, good fun

Just got back last night from a two week holiday at Hotel Morina...WOW! If you're holidaying on a budget this is the place to go. I went with my sister and we were allocated a room on the lower floor. The room was perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean but didn't have a view. As we were only in the room to shower and get changed or to sleep this wasn't a problem for us. The hotel surrounding are just beautiful so we never wanted to stay in the room, it was just so nice outside. There are rooms at the hotel that do have a nice view though. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us and were really helpful, they helped organise excursions and always got us the best price and they were really friendly and up for a laugh. Murat, the head barman is quite a character - top tip ask him about his Scottish girl called Rachael!! and Sulyman was always ready to push you in the pool (in between proposing to everyone lol).

The pool area is also spotless and getting a sunlounger was never a problem as there are plenty.

The food was ok, nothing fancy but again good value for money. We booked on a B&B basis and found that it suited us as it was so hot we often didn't have lunch. We ate at the hotel a few time but went out most evenings. I recommend a Restaurant called 'Antique'. We had a fantastic meal, starters, mains and drink for the grand sum of 50 TLR (about £18!)

Olu Deniz itself is a gorgeous part of Turkey to visit and there were loads of cheaply priced (I thought) excursions on offer...highly recommend the paragliding and the Jeep Safari. Food and drink in the area was very reasonable too. A trip to Fethiye market is a must too for all your 'genuine fake crap' as they say - some real bargains to be had, don't forget to haggle! Getting around is really easy too, don't bother with a hire car, just jump on the Dolmus', really cheap and you don't have to wait long for them. If you fancy a day at the beach, a walk along to the lagoon and Billy's Beach Bar is well worth a visit.

All in all, fantastic value for money and an excellent time was had.....can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view.

We stayed at Hotel Morina for four days at the beginning of a backpacking tour of Turkey. The pool was lovely and very clean and the rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

The hotel itself is quite a walk from the beach (about 10-15mins), but that wasn't too bad. Ölüdeniz itself was OK for a few days but towards the end I felt like I wanted to get out and see what Turkey was actually like. The place is basically just mini England. The restaurants are overpriced compared to the rest of Turkey (although not too bad for Euro/UK standards) and the whole place thrives on selling fake t-shirts. My boyfriend's backpack didn't get delivered for three days so we tried to find a (non fake brand) t-shirt for him, harder than it sounds!

On the whole, I would recommend the hotel but not the resort.

Up in the hills - fantastic views and cool breezes. Staff good fun and friendly they made our holiday. Only a 10 min walk to the beach, bars and shops. Harrods was good for fake heaven. There is also an Azda supermarket. Mud bath trip recommended - a good laugh.
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the hotel for you. Rooms cleaned every day and clean towels daily too.

Room Tip: Avoid basement rooms - too many stairs and no view

Great holiday.. lovely staff.. food good, worth the money half board, the pool is great. people relaxing, swimming and playing vollyball, rooms meet needs and cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels.. no language barrier English speaking staff.. frendly and made me laugh.. lovely views, 10 min walk to town, lively and fun.. mosque very near by.. calling to pray early morning and through out day... But I didn't mind.. I loved the boat trip, only £12 and had a fantastic lunch, drinks included.. I had a henna tattoo for £7.50..
Help bar and resturant at the sea front was brilliant and did awesome milkshakes.. could watch paragliders landing... I got a great deal with focus tours for mine... Speak to Philip at beach front...approx £45 plus approx £8 for national park fee..It was brilliant.. mum was scared but I wasn't.. would love to come back here again... I loved it. X
