“Wonderful Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

Have just spent a 2 week holiday at this great hotel. Leyla and all her staff, the chef, the waiters, barmen, cleaners and the gardener/maintenance man, do a fantastic job between them and certainly know how to make sure you have a good holiday. Plenty of variety on the menu both for lunches and evening meals and all freshly prepared. Rooms are well furnished and kept very clean by the cleaners. The swimming pool is large and spotlessly clean and very welcoming. All in all if you want a good holiday this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good

Just returned home from the Leytur with my girlfriend and our two teenagers and are already planning to go back next year, the hotel is fantastic and we were made to feel very welcome by Leyla and all her staff. The rooms are spotless and probably the best we have stayed in and the food was excellent, the hotel itself is situated in a lovely quiet part of Ovacik only 10 minuets on the dolmus into lively Hisaronu or 20 minuets into Oludeniz. This was our best family holiday to date and we can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: We booked two twin rooms with poolside view on the top floor. Fantastic view over Hisaronu to Oluden...

Just had 2 weeks at this small and friendly hotel. Very relaxing, nice rooms and lovely pool, staff lovely.
Easy to get to the harbour and beach on the little buses. We did the weekend trip to Ephesus and Pamelukee, it was amazing.
Came home relaxed and happy

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor so you can leave your windows open

On a previous visit to the Leytur in May of this year I was invited to the Wedding of a lovely Scottish Couple Steven and Nicola. The Wedding was on the beach at the Blue lagoon Oludeniz and the Reception at the Leytur. As usual Leyla was in charge of everything, arranging all the Legal paperwork, licences etc, and was in attendance throughout the day and at the beach. She made sure that the Wedding went smoothly, including translating the ceremony and organising the photographer so that the photographs reflected the arrival of sunset on the beach as the ceremony concluded. I have seen those photographs and they where as stunning as the bride and groom. Poor Steven was clearly overcome with emotion. It must have been quite a special moment for the Turkish people to see Groom and friends in Kilts etc.
The evening Reception was just perfect by the Hotel Pool, with everywhere decorated by Leyla and her dedicated crew. The food was excellent and plentiful, and after the speaches a DJ who new exactly what music to play to keep everyone more than happy. As with most Scottish Weddings everyone had a great time including all the other Hotel guests.
The Celebrations started early, in fact two days before the Wedding with a nice quiet start on the first day with a Meet and Greet Evening, and the second day we had the combined Stag and Hen Night Turkish style including a really good Belly Dancer which had all been organised by Leyla. She certainly knew how to put the complete package together and combined Turkish and Scottish Traditions in perfect harmony.
The staff at the Hotel all work extremely hard and always with a smile. I love this Hotel for holidays, but this was a "something special" holiday and a Wedding that Steven and Nicola will treasure. Well Done the Leytur.

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the really large pool

I returned to Leytur this year and this trip witnessed the Leytur prepare the reception for a Scottish wedding.
It was an excellent professional job. The bride, groom and guests were well pleased.
To give another unbiased reference, a couple from Sunderland moved out of a hotel in Hisaronu and Leytur Hotel supplied a room. Later talking to the couple they said that in comparison the Leytur was like a palace and they would be returning next year.
What more can I say ? Only that with the number of guests returning increasing I will have to book early!,

Here are some things that we found during our stay at this hotel.

The pros:
- nice looking hotel
- rooms are good (though we would have appreciated a refrigerator)
- tip top swimming pool

The cons:
- really dirty shower head (absolutely black, had to clean it for a while before I allowed my girl friend to see it!)
- the owner Leyla charged 12 tl per day for the air conditioning - which was quite a surprise.
And the worst thing is that in retrospect we haven't really used it (as it was september)!
- reception unmanned for most of the time (so much for room key security)
- basic breakfast
- staff obviously wants you to order lots of stuff from their bar
- "the Flintstones" bed (literally solid as a rock). my girlfriend could not get to sleep because of it.

Just returned from a brill holiday chilling at the Leytur hotel with Leyla and her team. They make you so welcome even if you arrive in the middle of the night as we did. Our room was ready, spotlessly clean just waiting for us to move into. We spent a lot of time around the pool and could not fault the lunch time service, or the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals.
Look forward to a return visit next year, Thanks for everything.
