EXCITING NEWS, was a bit apprehensive about going to Hotel Bozbey after reading about the BIG CHANGES taking place after Omar and Pam leaving. I went in to see about booking for later this year because of the New Management and it’s Ali, Aykut and Irene who used to have the Ministry Bar, really nice people and very friendly. BIG CHANGES have taken place it’s practically been demolished. The small bar and restaurant have gone, there’s a brand new reception area and a whole new building which is now a large restaurant and a bar with an open plan chef kitchen. There’s now a bigger sunbathing area, with an outdoor barbeque area for the special Turkish entertainment nights.
The rooms now also have air conditioning, fridges and hairdryers.
I know Ali, Aykut and Irene are going to be great for the place and I have already placed my booking as they are not taking tour operator bookings and can’t wait until July.
I’m sure everyone will have just as good a holiday as before if not BETTER. Enjoy your hol.

The Hotel Bozbey was a really clean and attractive hotel, set back from the main road so it was quiet and pretty to look at.
The only problem we experienced was that it was a small hotel and it felt like if you didn't get to know anybody from day 1, they weren't interested in you. We spent all day and night with friends that were staying in a different hotel, and so didn't have chance to meet anyone from our hotel. For the last couple of days we stayed at our hotel around the pool but nobody seemed particularly friendly towards us. We hardly got a smile and it felt like they had "disowned" us because we hadn't spent the whole week there like the other guests did.
On the whole though, Hisoranu was a lovely place to stay, set in the mountains.
The people in the town were very friendly, although a bit too friendly if you're female and wear bikinis! The restaurants were goregeous and the nightlife was buzzing but without being over the top, so it suits families with small children as well.
