Spotlessly clean, beautiful surroundings, very child-friendly, wonderful staff...what more can I say.

Stayed at the Mavi belce with my best friend and we had a fantastic time.
The Staff at Mavi Belce were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Thanks especially to Tara for our girly chats and great advice, to Burak for just making us laugh and his Justin Timberlake moves and to Baki for our lovely meals and our fantastic boat trip, lots of wonderful memories.You all made our holiday very special. The bedrooms are basic but comfortable and differently pay the extra for the AC, you will need it! The pool area is very chilled out and we always got a sun lounger. They have a nice restaurant area and the food was always good.
Oludeniz has a great selection of restaurants and a couple of cool night clubs.
The beach was great and make the trip down to the blue laggon area as it is worth it.
We did paragliding on the last day and it was fab. Little bit scary going up in the truck but just don't look over the side! Once you are in the air it is just so relaxing and what a fantastic view.

Would go back as a week just isn't long enough.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Mavi Belce, Olu Deniz.

After reading many reviews of many hotels in Olu Deniz, we settled for the Mavi Belce as it seemed to be ok and didn't have many negative reports. We were not disappointed. As we were there at the end of the season (second week in October), there where not many other guests at the hotel, which was great. There was such a relaxed atmosphere and the staff really made an effort to make sure all the guests were looked after -especially Borak and the guy who ran reception (sorry,don't know his name) - both are really funny and friendly and definitely added to our stay.

We were bed and breakfast and had paid a good price for the week. The breakfast was basic and the same every day (bread, cheese, boiled egg, jam), but we didn't mind as that was all we expected - you get what you pay for! We ate lunch at the hotel and also had drinks there, which we put on our room and paid at the end. The bill worked out about right and I do not feel that the hotel had added anything else on or ripped us off.

All we wanted from our holiday was warm weather and to be able to relax by the pool or on the beach, which we got. If we had wanted a more lively time, there was still a lot going on despite it being the end of the season. Whilst Olu Deniz is a lot nicer and quieter than neighbouring Hisaronu, it still had a bit of a tacky touristy feel. This was mainly if you went along the main strip leading away from the beach. We avoided this and stuck to bars and restaurants which were on the beach front which tended to be playing better music and creating a better atmosphere. We really loved the Buzz beach bar where we ate quite a few times as well as having a chilled out drink watching sunset.

Overall we had a relaxing break away from work to recharge and in my opinion the beginning of October is a great time to go. Any later and I think it would have been too quiet and also the rains start to come from mid October (which we did have a bit of whilst we were there). I probably wouldn't go back to Olu Deniz as we never really revisit places, but if I did, I would certainly stay at the Mavi Belce Hotel.

Just returned from a week in Olu Deniz at the Mavi Belce. This was the second year we have been to Turkey although we stayed in Hisaronu last year. Olu Deniz is far nicer than the latter and nothing like the Blackpool atmosphere of Hisaronu.

If you want a chilled holiday at quiet hotel with friendly staff this is a winner. No kids (while we were there anyway), plenty of space round the poolside, music chilled and not loud and friendly staff. Rooms are basic but clean and serviced every day. The hotel caters for an older singles holiday package which makes the hotel quieter than the size would suggest due to the singles occupying twin rooms. I cannot make assumptions for the hotel during summer holiday season as far as children are concerned but would certainly say "go for it" in September.

Olu Deniz is lovely for a week of lying around the beach and taking in the sun. Paragliders are regular throughout the day and great to watch as the come into land. Don't believe the scare stories of many deaths as they are mainly professionals carrying out stunts that go wrong. 2 in 2007. Tandem flights are well worth the fear factor beforehand as the experience stays with you forever. I suffer vertigo and i did it so anyone can! 2 tandem deaths in 20 years in the resort i was told.

The lagoon can be very busy so i would suggest the other end of the beach where you can lie on the bean bags and large cushions where there are also sections of sand. Buzz bar is good for sunsets and chilled tunes.

Hisaronu does have three very good eateries called the Olive Tree, Robin Hood and The Piano. Traditional Turkish not like the burgers and chips like the rest of the town promotes. The Black Pearl is a top bar as well. Good tunes and great hosts in Sveta and Taschin.

Day trips to the 6 or 12 islands and Dalayan are good for a change of scenery. A trip to a turkish bath is highly recommended at the beginning of your trip to aid your tan (bit sore if sunburnt to say the least).

Overall, we will be back in Turkey at this resort again sometime in the future. If you want to just lie around and relax in a scenic location, it's perfect!

PS: We are a young couple. Well she's young, i'm 30's :-)
