“Wonderful Wedding and Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2010

This was my 3rd trip to Belcekiz and I said if ever I was to get married again it was in Olu Deniz. I have had such fabulous holidays at Belcekiz and wanted to return. The hotel was once again fabulous and it was great to catch up once again with Air and Memhet, Richie was also great to meet and made our visits to the pool bar very entertaining and welcoming. We once again had a fabulous holiday and our room was great pleaty of room for us as bride and groom. I loved the new area where the food was served and once again they did not disappoint us. We were a party of 10 and could mostly accomodate us, I think it was only one evening they could not.

Our wedding arranged by Thomsons was fabulous and the wedding co-ordinator was alway accomodating once we arrive. Our only problem we had was with the wedding team in the UK when we were trying to organise things before we went away. The area where you get married is great and we could not have wished for anything better. Once we were married we were dropped back to the Belceciz but decided to eat at the Buzz Bar which was fabulous overlooking the sea and watching the Sun Set (very reasonable as well). Although we knew we could not be faulted by the food at the Belcekiz we felt the cost were a little too high for residents and non residents. This should be looked into before you arrange your wedding arrangement.

I would dearly love to return next year but unsure with the costs and wondering if we should leave it a year to enable us to save. The staff are great and I can never fault the treatment you receive and can understand the costs but presently with the ecomonic situation think this should be taken into account.

Buzz Bar and Harry's Bar are highly recommended as is the Sultan restuarant for Breakfast.

Returned from this hotel last week from our first visit to Turkey. We didn't know what to expect but had been told numerous horror stories about Turkey but glad to say this place is out of this world. What a hidden gem this hotel is - Thomson's Brochure doesn't do it justice.
Transfer from the Dalaman Airport took approximately 50 minutes, this was well organised and we didn't have long to sit and wait before departure. We were transferred in a mini-bus with only 5 other people, we were the only 2 going to stay in Club Belcekiz Beach Hotel.

Arrived at Hotel and a porter immediately appeared to take our lugguage off the mini-bus. Check-In was very smooth and quick, the porter then took us to our room and demonstrated how everything operated.

The room we were allocated was situated on the ground floor (as per our request) near to Cafe Patio (where you could obtain your Pool Towels and change as required during your stay) and overlooked the garden area not far from the main pool area. The room was nicely decorated with plenty of staorage space for clothes, toiletries for two females who always take far too much stuff with them!!

All the hotel staff work exceptionally hard, special mention to Mehmet and Berry in the restaurant and al-la-carte restaurant, Richie in the Pool Bar and Gem and Borek in the Plaza Bar who truly made our holiday - they are all so funny.

The Entertainment Team were brilliant and special mention to 'Air' whose Crazy Water Gym most afternoons is an absoloute scream. The Club Dance is excellant fun and you cannot fail to want to take part - most fun in the pool before lunchtime - watch out for two of the pool bar staff on the roof!

The food was fantastic in the main restaurant at every meal but especially the Curry Night on a Wednesday and the Roast Night on a Sunday - the yorkshire puddings are better than at home. We made one visit to the a-la-carte restaurant and sampled the 'Indian Set Menu' - wonderful and only £8.00 per person extra. Although we didn't sample the Thai or Intalian a-la-carte restaurants on this occassion we will when we return to this hotel.

The maids work very hard and bed linen is changed most days and towels every day unless you are happy to re-use.

The Turkish Bath in the Spa part of the hotel is a fantastic experience and well worth the additional cost, we only wish we had gone more than once during our 2 week stay.

The photographers who are part of the hotel are very friendly and the photographs are well priced if you wish to purchase them but you are not put under any pressure to do this.

Overall this hotel is truly deserving of the 5 stars that it currently has and it cannot be praised highly enough - the staff are truly amazing!!!

Looking forward to our next visit - WOW! WOW!

We were very pleased with the hotel we stayed in: food was amazing!!!!, room was kept nice and clean with a nice surprise on the bed on the last day, staff was always friendly and location with many things to do in close distance+the weather was fantastic.
If we were to write something we didn't like in the hotel it would be the view from our balcony (It meant to overlook the garden but instead it overlooked tennis court behind the high hedge, so there was not much sunshine on the balcony).
We still think the Hotel deserve its 5 stars:)

There is everything in Oludeniz: many beaches (but most of them are stone beaches), wide range of sports and activities, shops and restaurants... Unfortunately Oludeniz isn't a cheap place to be and most prices are set on UK level if not more expensive. What more they are given usually in GBP or EURO and later converted into Turkish lira. Also unusual were prices given up to front especially on cruises (so dont be surprise when you pay about £3 for little beer)

I was on my holiday with husband and we stayed in Oludeniz only for one week, which was too short time to do all things we would like to do, but we managed to try microlighting through Thomson (great experience), "try diving" through Thomson (again great thing). Also Safari and late check out Dalyan 3T was through Thomson. Safari was very interesting experience as well but I wish we had more our own drinks as there were not many places we could bye drinks from and it was very hot! (But the guide was great and had good sense of humor:)) About late check out Dalyan trip maybe I will say only that it was a good fun ( especially Turtle Beach), but the hotel we stayed in after (3T)was in my opinion worse than offered 2T+ It was much further to the town and shops and food was far from good.
To sum up It was a great holiday and we wish to come back there one day but next time we will keep more pounds in addition to Turkish lira. Also we might choose different part of Turkey to discover.

Firstly you'll all boo his that im a travel agent! I paid more than most guests staying too but anyway... :) Here we go....

We arrived to find our room was to small for all three of us adult's sharing... We had no space to walk once the suitcases where in and the sofa bed was set out for the 3rd adult sharing. We popped along to reception to see if they could help at all.... The hotel was full! Although they tried there best to check other hotels etc they did have a Suite becoming available the day after... (This isnt something Thomson's sell though but would recommend upgrading to the suite on arrival) We had to pay an extra £450 for the upgrade unfortunately but this wasnt the hotels fault... I didnt realise this part of Turkey generally have smaller rooms than other parts. The Suite was fab, Had a bath and shower, two sinks overall quite spacious. The suite had a ground floor and also a upper floor and a beautiful balcony!!

Food... Oh my gosh... ive never known a hotel like it!!! There's so much choice!! Show cooking every night, Themed nights - Indian, Chinese, English - being roast beef with yorkshire puds!!!, Theres always something to suit all, puddings galore too sooo yumm i must of put a stone on!! You can just constantly eat from 7;30am breakfast time ill midnight! Oh an ice cream come out at 3pm... Bannana, strawberry and chocolate YUM! I miss the 3pm treat at home! Hehe

Service - This was fantastic bit like being on a cruise ship.... Your lying down reading your book/magazine's and a waier pops by an asks what one owuld like to drink... As soon as they see you cup empty they'll get you a refill! Same a the dinner tables too! Fantastic! Didnt have to move anywhere... Outstanding service from all staff from the cleaners right up to the managenment! You get beach towel cards so if your wary about your luggage weighting to much take ur towels out and use the hotels... you can change them as many times as you want a day... its great!!

Hairdresser's onsite, manicure, pedicures, turkish shaves for the guys, turkish bath,.. i couldnt believe how cheap everything was!

Beach is 2 seconds walk away, beautiful view's of the sea... mountains... paragliders... paradise!

Small strip yet 2 seconds away too... shops bar restaurants... everything you could want from a lovely resort.... Olu deniz took my breath away!

We stayed at this hotel due to the all inclusive fact.... we did go to olu deniz only because our friends were getting married who stayed at the Karbel hotel not far from here... Had other friends inthe Club Sun City also only a short walk away.

Friends did get married on the blue lagoon which you can go visit for the day... ITs just out of this world!

Feel free to ask me anything about this hotel... Id definately go back again!!

The hotel is right on the beach, rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a great choice of food. You can find somewhere to eat from 7.30am till midnight, in either the restaurant or snack bar. We went all inclusive and the moment you put a glass down, a waiter/waitress is asking if you want another. Once a week there is the general managers coctail party where you are served cocktails/canapes and meet the general manager, food and beverage managers and bar manager, who ask how the holiday/food/service is. The managers join in with the entertainment and are very friendly. Air and the rest of the entertainment team make sure there is entertainment in the theatre area every night from 9.30 - 10.30, then the music starts in the plaza bar at the back of the hotel by the beach. This goes on till about 2.00am and at 12.00 (when the free drinks stop) plates of pop corn are served to everyone.
There are 2 pools, the main one gets packed early on and so there is a rush to get sun beds at 8.00am. The 2nd pool is in the annex (where we stayed) just across a quiet road and is for adults only. This is a quiet area with its own bar and does not get too busy. This has got to be one of the best hotels we have ever stopped at. The town is small so not somewhere you can spend hours exploring, but it does have a good selection of bars if you want to pay for drinks/meals. Walking distance to the Blu lagoon beach and there are curtosy mini busses to Sugar beach and sea horse beach if you fancy a change. Sea horse beach is a bit pricy though to eat and drink there and they all cost 6 lira for a sun bed or umberella (about £2.50).

Have just returned from 2 weeks at belcezik beach. WOOOOW!!!! Firstly thomsons brochure an website do not do this hotel justice. We travelled here for a wedding at th hotel done amazing i can easily say it blew all my expectations, it was amazing and the food was fab.
The hotel grounds are lovely and have gardens as well with sunloungers on, and there are waitresses an aiters constantly coming around to take your drink orders, so u dont even have to move.
All the hotel staff are amazing and a great credit ti the hotel, they were fab with my 2 year old son. Especially Air from the entertainment team, and Sevince a pool side waitress, they all work so hard and nothing is to much trouble.
Food was lovely, with lots of choice, breakfast time omelletes are deinatly worth a try, there are also a selection of cereals, breads, boiled eggs, pancakes and more.
Lunh time again is the buffett restaurant with a wide selection to choice from, but if there nothing you fancy once this closes at 2pm the snack bar opens which has chicken burgers, cheese burgers which are again lovely.
Evening meal is the buffett restaurant which has themed nights, wednesday curry night is fab, as it the show cooking night aswell, there is also an ala carte restaurant whivh does thai, italian and indian, this is a extra £8 sterling per person for the set menu but is worth it, drinks are all still included in the all inclusive package.
There are 2 bars for the evening the pool bar which is a bit quieter then the plaza bar which overlooks the beach, this plays music, has kareoke nights an all the staff an guests can dance, this is also open to ppl who arent in the hotel, so it gets a little busy at times, but is very good.
The rooms are a good size with good size bathrooms and showers, room did not have a bath tho which was a pain to try and bath my 2 year old son in the sink. Maids clean rooms everyday giving you fresh towels and linen change everyother day, the hotel also supplies towels for the pool aswell which i find a bonus as towels are quite heavy in the case.
Overall i rate this hotel 10/10 and i will definatly return with my family, also olu deniz its self is lovely, with a selection of bars and restaurants.
Hotel also has a hairdressers which also does amazing pedicures and manicures for £10, and a spa which does turkish baths which is a must for just £8!!!
Hope this revies helps.

I stayed here last May, our second visit. Considered booking again but was being quoted 1100 each for a week in September. I'm not sure if its Thompsons or the hotel but someone is getting very greedy. What makes this hotel attractive is the service, location and the fairly decent food. The alcoholic drinks are of dubious quality and strength. Don't get me wrong this is a decent hotel but they are now entering the price you can pay for much better places in the Caribbean. It was originally a 3 star hotel. upgraded now to 4 star. The rooms are at best average. Before you get sucked in by the gushing praise look at the price you are being asked to pay
