“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

All i can basically say is that it has been the best experience of my life! the rooms were brilliant, there was a lot of food to choose from, the entertainment was amazing and i would like to thank kaan, taifun, zein, ozlem, kerem and apoo. they made me feel very welcome and all the activities were just amazing and made you feel included in everything, The only bad thing is that i stayed for a week. So i would highly recommend you stay for 2 weeks. the entertainment on the night is varied which is brilliant and there is never a boring day at oludeniz as there is a lot to do in the town or at the hotel

Room Tip: second floor and a view of the pool

As the title says this hotel is definitely not four star.
The rooms were clean but tired and need revamping. E.G they had carpets instead of tile flooring. Most of the balconies had a poor view. We moved room as we were overlooking a wall.
The biggest problem was the hotel have extended the accommodation but not increased the catering. The restaurant was shocking. If we managed to get a table, We then had to get our own cutlery, and wait for cups in the morning for coffee. The waiter service was poor and rarely served drinks. It felt like we had to prepare for battle when entering the restaurant. We grew tired of it and eat out a lot. The lobby bar was always short of glasses and regularly had drinks served in school type glasses.
On the positive. The grounds are lovely. It is very clean and well maintained. Pools are nice and relax pool was good.
We had a great holiday but the hotel really needs to sort out restaurant and revamp rooms to maintain 4 stars.

Room Tip: New block are best rooms. However we asked for a pool view and eventually got one.

I agree with 366 Holidaymaker. Our room was tired and the shower was tiny, made worse by being provided with towels that were as rough as sandpaper!!The aircon was nice. The 3 pools were excellent and the Animation team did make the atmosphere, Apool was a great laugh and they all worked very hard to entertain the guests. We ended up eating out at night as the food was bland in taste, and the restaurant more like a canteen.Ok for breakfast and there was a snack bar which was fine at lunchtime or for mid afternoon snacks.
We wanted to try the ala carte restaurant but it was closed.
If you plan to go with kids ,beware Ice creams only available at lunchtime and always a queue, should be free all day if meant to be 4 star. The Turkish Bath is well worth a visit (£25).Overall we had a great holiday and would go back to the resort, but not this hotel unless 3 star rated and paid a 3 star price.

Room Tip: Well worth paying for an upgrade, book rooms in the new buildings if you want a decent balcony with...

Just back from a week here. Weather amazing. Grounds of hotel really well maintained. The complex has lots of character in the older part. Lovely areas to take pictures. We had a room in an older part of the hotel. It felt tired and like it needs a really scrub but it was acceptable for a short break. We had enough space and slept fine on the beds. We liked having separate pools depending on what you like to do. One pool was closed on Saturday as someone did a poo in there. Yes, really!?! Apparently it happened two weeks ago too. We felt we lost a day as the kids weren't welcomed in the relax pool by some of the other residents even though the hotel agreed it for that day and the activity pool was very busy. The British lived up to the stereotype with many out at 7 am to reserve sun beds. In general though they were on them all day after breakfast. Parents would be advised to supervise their children even a little bit and stop them taking drinks into the pool, for example. We regularly retrieved plastic glasses from the bottle of the pool. One kid delighted in telling me how he turned the pool purple when he poured his drink in there. Plonker. There are no lifeguards on duty so behaviour monitoring is down to individuals who don't often see beyond the page of their Kindle. Staff work very hard and were generally friendly and helpful. An area this hotel really needs to focus on is food and hygiene in the dining room. The food was uninspiring and children and vegetarians struggled. It lacked flavour and was often tepid. The real issue was in the show cooking area outside. The flies and wasps were a real problem and food was often uncovered and crawling with these insects. Even the food dishes that could be covered were left open by inconsiderate guests. Everyone descended on the dining room at 7.30 pm for dinner and there was a lack of tables and cursory table cleaning between guests. We went out for meals a few times to fill up on something decent. The people feeding the stray cats and dogs need to kindly stop it. It's not great when the animals leave leftovers on the floor and the people who put it there for them don't pick it up either. Nice. The resort itself is ok but was more touristy than I had been led to believe. The shops are all selling fake goods that are really poor quality but judging on the amount of people sitting round the pool with Dr Dre headphones, wonky Converse and Hollister logos on their clothing, it goes down well. Prefer the real McCoy myself! I wouldn't bother with Sun City, the hotels private beach at the Blue Lagoon. The amount of sunbeds packed in was a bit much and the water didn't look fresh. The entertainment team were average but relied on evening entertainment provided by guest participation. The drunken karaoke thankfully didn't last long. Not 4 star.

We were in the older rooms which aren't very big but were spotlessly clean so we didn't mind, the staff were all very friendly but the entertainment team made the holiday for us they were brilliant, funny, very sociable and made time to talk to everyone they worked long days but were always up for a laugh my daughter (11) was upset when we were leaving them to come home. The resort its self is in a good location and was right by the beach but also had a bus to take you to the blue lagoon free of charge every day. Our only problem was the food we got fed up of eating chicken everyday but saying that we aren't the best eaters. I would most definitely stay there again it was a fab holiday.

Room Tip: ask for the newer rooms the are bigger.

We never been to Turkey before and chose to go to this hotel as we heared so much about the location. It is in a really nice location but unfortunately the rooms does let the hotel down. If it wasn't for the animation/ entertainment group and friendly people we met there I don't think we would have enjoyed our holiday. The entertainment group are so so good, they have a variety range of activities for all ages. These guys are so so friendly and nice they almost become a part of your family. Our special thanks to lovely Taifun, Apool, Deniiz, Kann and dj Zain, they were were brilliant. They deserve a medal as they really make you welcomed and because of them you forget about room not been cleaned properly or food is repetitive ! Thank you so much guys for making our holiday so good. If it wasn't for you we would not have a great time. Thanks again.

The resort was great, catered for everyone's needs, children, teens and adults. Rooms were excellent lots of space for us and had air conditioning. weather was great when we were there 40 degrees plus. pools were brilliant especially the entertainment pool, many fun games to play such as water polo. Plus the entertainment crew were amazing, the likes of Taifun, Apo, Kaan and Ozlem were amazing made the trip, miss them already and cant wait to go back. i would definitely recommend going out on a party trip with them. for me was one of the highlights of the holiday, but i would also recommend paragliding or any of the excursion trips that they offer they were incredible.
The entertainment crew also offer the mini club for children and Ozlem was great in this never left any child behind and ran some good games.
I will say it again i cant wait to return to see the entertainers but also to return to a beautiful place, plus their English is very good.

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were good, no complaints I would choose any in the hotel.
