“Wonderful break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

Arrived in the early hours and we were met by friendly staff who showed us to our superior room our stay was all inclusive for two weeks.
The suite was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space and a modern clean shower room.Outside was a sun deck with table and chairs two sun loungers and a parasol. The vista is breathtaking, and the rural charm was increased with goat and chicken noises, and also the mosque prayers, we actually missed this when we got home!
The food and staff were fabulous, plenty of choice and prompt service. Occasional mistakes with orders due to language barrier, but couldn't be more apologetic if order was wrong.
Maid service daily, and mini bar with soft drinks in the room, tea and coffee making facilities too.
The walls are a little thin! so sound does carry, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of our stay.
The resort is quiet ideal for a relaxing break.

Room Tip: Superior rooms come with sun patio and amazing sea views these are well worth paying extra for.

...went "all inclusive" 1 week from June 23rd 2012, arrived at 1.30am, we had looked on Trip Advisor pics etc and requested the rooms with balcony/sea views. We were ushered into a poky room behind reception & when I opened the curtains we were looking straight at the breakfast bar, asked to be moved even though it was now 2am and an argument is not what you need after travelling, we were told nothing could be done until 7.30am next day (which I said I'd be there on the dot), so we resigned ourselves to the grubby room. Went to make a coffee for the wife but the coffee/milk baket etc was empty - another trip to reception. Picked up the kettle to find it stunk rancid with an old herbal teabag in it someone had been using as a teapot, so obvously maids had not been in - another trip to reception. Went to the bathroom (as you know you put toilet paper in the bins) to find that had not been emptied from previous occupant - another trip to reception!
Didnt have to worry about being awake for 7.30am as at 4.45am the Mosque which is right in front of hotel starts its call to prayers! this happens every morning!! & at least 5 times throughout the day!!!
They did move us to a better room down on the grass - still not the ones I'd asked for but was Ok - except for smell coming up from shower drain.
Food was OK but chips every breakfast but never at teatime?? cold meats were never covered properly & was a feeding frenzy for wasps/flies. The beer was some cheap nasty week local brew, which they would only serve in halves glasses.
Made sure we went out on trips every other day & went for a pint in town at night.
Seem to be catering for Turkish, English definitely a minority so perhaps should remove from UK brochures?
On the day we were leaving, I asked if we could keep our room, or have courtesy room as we didnt fly 'til 11.40pm but were told no on both counts, we had to be out for midday! if we want shower or change we would have to use toilets by the pool! They also ceremonialy cut off our wristbands at midday so no drink or food for 12hrs! I did argue that we had paid for 7 days holiday and that as I arrived 23rd am I had only had 6 1/2 days but they were not interested.
(big thanks to the couple who fetched us a coke & a snack & let us use their room to shower & change).
plus sides were the pool was nice, 10 minute walk into town.

Room Tip: make sure you request the balcony with decking & get it in writing.

Have just returned from 11 nights at the Manas Park. Fantastic views of the bay and surrounding mountains. As previously stated the food wasn't brilliant but we had a fantastic time, Room was lovely and a first not having to scramble for sunbeds in the morning, always plenty to be had. The staff were all very friendly but some of them do not understand English and would have to ask their colleagues to supply the drinks to us. Entertainment was thin on the ground, I think the entertainer that was there when we arrived on the 11 June was sacked very early on. His replacement was just getting to grips with it all as we left. I would certainly go back as we had a very relaxing holiday and met some very nice people.

Room Tip: Rooms numbered from 1101 through to 1109 very good.

We would not have normally looked at a hotel like this so I am reluctant to be too critical of it. We learned a hard lesson this year to book the hotel you like and not for the people who might be working there. We arrived at 5am in the morning and the guy on reception was polite and showed us to our room which was a superior one looking out to the sea. The room was clean and the view stunning. The walk to town down a dusty track took about 10 to 15 minutes and was downhill a taxi back cost about 10 lire. The drinks were ok and plentiful but hit and miss with the strength. The staff were pleasant but spoke very little English. The food in my opinion was dire and we ate out every night. The best part of the food was the bread! One morning for breakfast there was cauliflower and sweetcorn and chips...! There was nothing about the food that was pleasant or appetising. Entertainment was nil with 'house' type music barring out. We did ask them to turn it down and change it which to be fair they did. I don't think the hotel has found its niche of who it wants to attract. The Brits seemed to irritate them!! There were a lot of Non UK folk here who seemed to fit in well so maybe they should quit advertising in the UK brochures. Sadly we left after a week and booked into another hotel at our own expense! Like I said at the beginning though we would never have normally booked here so I am trying to be open minded. The pool incidentally is lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds.

very good hotel. brilliant location. walking distance to beach, shops, bars and restaurants. alot of foreigners use this hotel. you get what you pay for, so if your going to compare it to a long haul all inclusive, this is not the hotel for you. staff very friendly but dont speak to much english. mosque near by with prayers sounding early in morning. all in all a very good holiday and thought the hotel was very good.

Room Tip: might get put in a poor room first night, but helpful receptionist willing to move you, if you ask.

A great hotel in a lovely village. A spent there a week (a honeymoon trip) in may 2012. Great views, good food, clean rooms. The only problem are the bathrooms - it stinks a bit.
