“Great Hotel and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2011

We enjoyed staying at this newly refurbished hotel. We thought the facilities were good, we stayed in a family room for four which was two rooms interlinked, one with a large double bed and the other with two singles, had a nice size bathroom and our room had a pool view. The cleaning lady was very friendly, our room was cleaned daily and it wasn’t a problem if you needed extra towels. The food was home Turkish cooking, ok, it was a bit repetitive at times, but the hotel is a three star with a buffet service….not a five star restaurant! If you want an English food I suggest you holiday in England! Breakfast was continental and with the option of having scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs and omelettes. There was a huge selection of salads and always a hot option both for lunch and evening diner. The location was perfect with spectacular views. The pool area was kept very clean, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to shade, you could get a sunbed any time of the day, you didn’t have to put your towel down at 6 in the morning…a definite plus!
Sam, the hotel entertainer, was excellent, he chatted to everyone, arranged water polo for the boys in the afternoons and all the evening entertainment. The bar staff were very friendly and worked very hard all day. The walk down to the resort took 10 minutes and 15 to the beach, not a walk for high heels or elderly people although taxis’ were easily available and cheap. Manas Park has such potential, just needs the management team to interact more with the guests and do a little tweaking. We would definitely recommend this hotel and Olu Deniz is a beautiful resort.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with lovely views. The food is good it caters for everyone and there's big variety . The bar staff are friendly and understand what your saying fine. There's nothing Wrong with the pool or the cleanliness even though the reviews say it's bad. The entertainment is AMAZING and I would definitely come to this hotel again!

Very nice hotel with a modern bathroom but the food was the same for breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you like salad & rice then you would love this hotel, there were only two meat dishes to choose from which became very boring. The chef cooked omlettes once a week and this was only if you came to breakfast at 7.30am after this time they stopped cooking and then all you had was bread & jam ( as there was no toaster ) or salad & cheeses. I would not recommend this hotel if you have children as there is not much choice of food for them or any entertainment. We were all inclusive and from 3-4pm you could have unlimited ice-cream but my son went to get his second one when he was asked how many he has had and that he couldn't have anymore! They also only served ice-cream for 15 minutes then shut. The manger of the hotel didn't seem to have a clue and they were always running out of glasses and knives and folks but when you went to get your own they didn't seem to like it. The cleaners were very friendly and kept your room nice & clean. Wouldn't also recommend the hotel if you have problems walking as there is a big steep hill leading upto the hotel. Oh yes and there is a mosque at the bottom of the hill which will wake you up at 4am and will last for 10 minutes but by then you're already awake! Lovely views though but I would say it was a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. It was a shame as the room, pool and views were lovely but the food and service let the hotel down. The staff also does not speak much english.

Room Tip: Can only comment on our room which was modern clean & tidy which overlooked the restaurant

We arrived at Manas
Park Hotel to be told our rooms would be available at 10am at 2.30pm we were finally told our room was ready, but the two rooms with sea view were not as they had VIP's arriving and had given them our rooms!! We asked what compensation they would give us and we were told a free trip of our choice, we met with manager and rep and asked for a trip that included a mud bath experience, we were given a receipt for the trip, the day before the said trip we checked with manager and we were told it was a trip to 12 islands with no mud bath, the manager
would not relent and said that was his gesture take it or leave it, this attitude prevailed from the office staff throughout our stay, their hospitality I would rate at 0/10 in comparison Sam and the bar staff were wonderful it was like two different camps, the people we met made it a holiday to remember! This hotel has the potential to be a quality stay, with the positioning, wonderful views, cleanliness and contemporary styled rooms, what let's it down is bland food, rude receptionist and manager, shape up Manas Park just a few changes and you really could fulfil your potential!

We didnt know what to expect not having been to turkey and not having ever gone all inclusive before. What a pleasant surprise. Our rooms were clean, airy and newly decorated. (The cleaner was very good and she spent alot longer than the 2 minutes somebody else suggested). We paniced a bit when we looked out and we were next to the pool area but that certainly didnt cause any problems through out the duration of the trip. The hotel is in between 2 mountains and you get a really lovely breeze up there. so picturesque. The rooms had full air conditioning anyway so combating the heat was never a problem.
The staff couldnt have been more freindly and were very approachable. They were fantastic with our 2 children. Sam was full of entertainment and certainly got to know all the guests as best as he could and was good fun. the children again thought he was very funny.
The food was good. I dont go to a foreign country and expect English food. No point in that. Its about trying a different culture. For the week we were there it was different every day but I suppose if you stay longer it would become a bit repetative but we enjoyed it none the less and trust me, my 9 year old is a fussy eater and he still managed to fill up.
The pool area is lovely and clean. no problem ever getting a sunbed or an umbrella and all the guests are as freindly as the staff. water polo is on every afternoon and Sam encourages the guests to get envolved and it is very entertaining to watch ( and my husband says fun to play too) it only lasts and hour so no big deal.
To the person who claimed the music went on till 3 am...REALLY? For the seven days we were there it ended by 12pm so no big deal. Each night a different entertainmant is arranged, the Turkish dancers being a really good one.
The walk into Olu Deniz takes no longer than 10 minutes and the beach 15 mins. We generally got a cab back in the eve as some of the stretch back is in darkness and I'm a scaredy cat (ha) but that was cheap too.
Honestly we really did have a great time and I am surprised to see others didnt.

Just got back from manas park .The hotel has so much potential but they just don't have a clue, they state that they cater for English,Russion and Turkish people ,this is so not the case they most defiantly do not cater for the English. The breakfast was dire the only thing you was offered was boiled egg, potatoes, savaloy sausage and salad and cheese. The meals on the night were not much better the only meat u will have is chicken every dinner and night,we had to eat out most nights as there was no way we could eat the the food that was put on offer .The swimming pool is minute no way big enough for the amount of people stopping at the hotel, and at 3pm for AN HOUR EVERY DAY it was used for water polo this is ok but an hour ,when its the hottest part of the day when people want to use the pool it was ridiculas. The lack of entertainment was dreadful the music they played was full blast going on till 3am every night There is building work going on at the bottom of the hotel which started at 9.30am and went on ,on occasions till 4pm the constant drilling was deafening. If you are not fully able in walking do not go to this hotel there is a massive steeeeeeep hill to get up from the road .
