“A very good place..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

A very good run family B&B/Hotel, perfect location, good priced food and drink, a short wander of minutes to the main area for Oludeniz.
The room was of a top quality, excellent pool, recommend upgrade to the deluxe rooms on the second floor, particularly room 214 which is very lovely.
Traditional Turkish breakfast to set you up for the day, all of the staff very helpful if you have any questions. A very good place

Room Tip: Recommend the upgrade to a deluxe room, second floor, room 214.

We were luckily able to book the last standard room (which didn't come with pretty towel decorations BTW, lol) and were happy overall.

The grounds are lovely and tranquil - it really is a pleasant place. During the day it's so quiet here. We arrived in the afternoon and went for a walk around town before deciding to stay here, when we found the Unsal it was like instant peace - away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets and loud music on the beach.

The beach was murky and smelled a bit off, not like the water around Kaś. We decided to chill out by the pool instead and loved it. Kids were playing, there was lots of room, and it had a friendly atmosphere.

The standard room is STANDARD no pretty add ons :( lol, but it has the essentials: double bed, air con and cleanliness. The bonuses: hair dryer, tv, balcony, safe, shower doors. For the same price elsewhere around the region we did not always get these additions.

The service could be a bit friendlier and professional, but for what it is you really do get great value out of the place.

Just spent 4 days at the end of a break in Turkey at the Unsal Hotel with my twin 9 year-old boys sharing their own room for the first time - big excitement! The rooms, hotel, food and especially the owners and staff were all excellent and hugely friendly - especially Baykur (with apologies for spelling) who was great with all the kids (both grown-up and small) in what was his little time off work.
Food and drink all 1) really good quality and 2) reasonably priced.
Specifics:
Pool is about 120cm in shallow end but good size and great for bombing in the deep end.
Pool area can get a bit slippery when wet.
Toilet and shower available for all pool users if you don't have a ground floor apartment.
Rooms are very clean, air-con good, English TV limited to BBC World but who cares?
WiFi drops in & out but personally I'm not worried out updating my InstaLinkedFace-a-gram status more than once every blue moon. Its my holiday, not yours!
MiniMart across the road sells everything you need.
Close to the Strip so can get a bit noisy at night (never thought I'd hear Achey Breaky Heart again!) but far enough away that closed windows should leave it quiet enough for the kids to sleep. Mine were too knackered not to crash out anyway.
About 5 minutes' walk from the beach.
All in all, 4 lovely days. Heartily recommended.

If you are planning on visiting and staying in Olu Deniz, I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. As a couple travelling in August (summer holidays) we stayed in a deluxe room and it was perfect. It was quiet (both in regards to the main street and the pool area - we never had a trouble getting sun loungers) and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, salad, fruit, eggs and a treat-a-day -potatoes/sausages/mushrooms- ) was very good; air-con and safe included in price. The staff were the real gem though and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We met other people staying there who had visited Olu Deniz previously and they said that this was the best hotel they had stayed at. Would revisit and recommend in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: I would recommend a deluxe room.

Very nice and reasonably priced hotel. Great location, close to beach, lovely staff and the pool area is also nice and relaxing.
The only downside was the breakfast. It needs to be improved.
Also, it's location can be a bit noisy in the evenings (in case you want it completely quiet).

Room Tip: It was quite loud until mid-night.

This was our first time in Turkey, and the Unsal Hotel was completely brilliant. Musa and his lovely family were so helpful, friendly and kind, they made us feel so welcome throughout the whole trip.

We booked independently via email and decided to upgrade to a top floor luxury room, which was completely worth the extra cost. The room was beautiful, large and exceptionally clean with a great balcony, king size bed and walk in shower. Norai (forgive the bad spelling) our cleaner was a credit or the hotel making sure our room was spotless every day and creating some lovely towel art each day! She couldn't do enough for us.

My family were staying in Oludeniz at the same time, but in a different hotel, and the staff at Unsal were so welcoming, allowing them to come to our pool and use the facilities each day. In fact they are still in Oludeniz and using the pool area even though they are not staying there!

Breakfast was simple and tasty, the chef would make you an omelette and there was always an extra treat each morning (cheese rolls, eggy bread etc).

The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds, and a nice pool bar serving food throughout the day. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the barman was very nice and funny!

If I ever return to Oludeniz the Unsal Hotel would be my only choice. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

One tiny little bug was the lack of wifi in the top floor deluxe room, however a small price to pay for the beauty of it. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
