“Lovely staff, very close to the beach, good food and relaxing atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We spent two weeks at the Magic Tulip Beach Hotel in Oludeniz and we felt that it was just what we had read in so many reviews prior to our booking.

Staff is fantastic, food is a treat and the swimming pool area and pool are inviting. The rooms are not top notch but for a relaxed beach holiday they are just practical, clean and comfortable. Next year we will definitely be back!

Strongly recommend it!

We booked this Hotel last September after reading several reviews of Hotels in Olu Deniz. We went as a group or family and friends for 11 nights and was very happy that this was a family run small Hotel right near the beach.
Upon arrival we were not dissappointed and was instantly pleased with the promptness of our late night check in. The room was adequate for our needs and was clean. There was a small balcony which had great views of the pool and from some the sea. The family room was a ground floor room and was more than adequate. The rooms were cleaned every day.
We had booked Half Board and found the food to be ample with a good choice of a starter and a main course. Sometimes we would have 2 starters instead as the portions were plentiful.
The stafff wer fantastic, Ginello at the Bar and Reception was always full of life and never a dull moment, always a smile. The "Boss Man" plays a mean game of backgammon, and is always charming and attentive to all the guests, ensuring that everybody's needs are met.
Overall a fantastic team in this Hotel, a truly memorable stay.
The only down side which i have noticed have been passed by other guests and reviews is the water fountain/filter which starts up at 8am prompt every day. Just when you thought you were having a peaceful lie in bed!!
The Hotel is NOT in the main shopping street, but everything is just a stones throw away literally. Ideal if you would like to get as close to the beach as possible. You can sit on the bar terrace for breakfast and dinner with a sea view and the paragliders landing all around you.
A Superb Beach Holiday, We will return every year to The Magic Tulip Beach. Thankyou to All the staff for a fabulous holiday.

Room Tip: If you have small children choose a ground floor room. They are also cooler. All the rooms are ver...

The staff is so friendly and can't do enough for you. Family rooms are on the small side but very clean. Had a bit of trouble at the beginning of out holidays. we were a family of 4 and a couple and we had booked a family and a double room but when we arrived we were put into 2 double rooms with 3 beds. I wasn't very happy that my son hat to sleep with our friends. The staff were very helpful and after a couple of days we moved into a big family room.... although in the dungeon it was a lovely room.. the food is lovely and cheap. Try the Turkish night its great. the staff from cleaner to boss are very nice and if you need anything go and ask they are happy to help. We are hoping to be back there soon.. this hotel ticks all the boxes good food very good location lovely staff great little hotel. Heike County Durham

Stayed here for a week at the end of April into early May. We had a basement room, initially disappointed as we didn't have a balcony but a terrace, however this proved to be ok in the end, as the sun went there later in the day and we had more space than the balcony rooms to sit out on. Also, the terraces felt more private, if you have small children probably a better option as the balconies have railings, less space. The rooms were great, cleaned everyday, spacious. One thing, we had to ask for a top sheet as the bed was only provided with a base sheet and a blanket type cover, didn't fancy using this, an additional sheet was provide no problem. Disappointed however that when we arrived there was an additional charge of £2 per day or £14 per week each for air conditioning, safe, fridge. We didn't use these services but you may need them when weather is hotter. The hotel in great location, has a small pool and beds to sun bath on, also minutes from the beach, 10 minute walk to blue lagoon. Shops and restaurants near by. Found the hotel to be well run, good buffet breakfast (bread, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, juice, tea, coffee). Would recommend

Just arrived back from a stay at the Magic Tulip Beach Hotel and was so impressed I decided to give my first ever review. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the furnishing in the room were up to date and in excellent condition. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was Turkish style buffet, which was fresh and plentiful. A full English breakfast is available at around £4.50 if you fancy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is just two minutes from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The Turkish night held there was good value with excellent buffet. We visited the sister hotel Magic Tulip on a few occasions and were equally impressed. All in all an excellent choice!!

Just got back from a week staying at the Magic Tulip beach hotel. Booked a last minute out if season cheapy with Airtours to Olu Deniz.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Magic Tulip because of the following reasons:

1. Location - 1/2 minutes away from the beach. We had a second floor room and could see it from our balcony.

2. Staff - attentive but never pushy. Unlike the other restaurants (which I do appreciate have to drum up trade) the staff were there but never try to up sell or push you into their restaurant. Some evenings were chilly (2 weeks ago) and a fire was lit every evening. Plenty of waiters who worked all day, any requests were never any trouble.

3. Room - I was taking my mum away so I was delighted to find a double and single bed. Rooms were cleaned everyday, new towels everyday too. The rooms had a bathroom, bedroom and dressing area. The wardrobe has plenty of hangers (hooray!) and a dressing table with stool. The balconys were just lovely to sit out in the morning and evening sun. All the rooms seemed to have a balcony (this is only a small hotel)

4. Pool - Because it's a smaller hotel, the pool was clean, well presented and an adequate size with plenty of sunbeds.

5. Food - We ate here a few times and found all food to be good. I'd recommend the meze. There are plenty of restaurant options around Olu Deniz. I'd highly recommend The Harry's Seafood on the beachfront. Breakfast was simple....for what was included. Turkish breakfast, toast, spreads, cornflakes. Other breakfast items were available to order and were quite reasonable.

All in all a fab little hotel. I liked the size of it very much, everything just felt right. I think it only had 25-27ish rooms. Great location, well done Magic Tulip!

We had a lovely holiday at this hotel. The rooms were really comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great to be so close to the beach too.
Most things are pretty much the same price as here in London though, which surprised me. Get your spirits from the airport, if that's what you drink!
