“Fantastic !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2010 via mobile

We stayed here at the end of august 2010 and had a fantastic holiday. The food was great, admittedly not alot of choice but always something that was nice. Even our 4 year old slightly fussy eater didn't have trouble finding something to eat. He especially liked the soup. Hotel owners ate from the same choice and I never witnessed anything as described by others. The location is great up in the hills for a lovely breeze and yes the price you pay is a steep hill we lovingly named heart attack hill ! Walkable though and even our little man managed it a couple of times ! There is a taxi rank at the bottom of the hill and for £2 you can get a ride up ... Worth it sometimes !! The hotel provided a shuttle service to the beach which is free. You can also get around cheaply by bus. The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms basic but fine for what we needed and cleaned whenever we requested. We all really enjoyed our holiday and this hotel. Staff, manager and the beautiful family that ran the hotel were all fantastic we will be definately visiting the family in their new hotel for next year. See you soon xx

This was a great holiday. The hotel was very basic as it was a family run hotel, but the location was good except the steep hill you have to walk up. The view was amazing and it wasn't very hot as we were quite high up. The staff were brilliant, very friendly, and the hotel was quite and calm, away from the hustle and bustle of Hisoronu. However it was nice to go out in the evening to either Fethiye or Hisoronu as it was lively and fun. The food at the hotel was very repetitive and basic and no they didn't serve sausage and eggs, because your in Turkey not watford. Turkish people are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitley come again, probably not to this hotel as it was situated on a very steep hill and you needed to stop four times for a break whilst walking up. However this has been the best holiday I've been on, cant wait till next year!

firstly the staff were great. had a great laugh with emrah. this hotel needs a lot of work. the rooms are very basic. and need a lot of refurbishment. meals very repetitive. but that is due to the hotel owners who fund the hotel which i believe to be around £10 per day per person so meals are going to be repetitive. the views from hotel are stunning. but beware it is situated at the top of a steep hill. the staff are excellent and try there best . good luck emrah in your new ventures. and to semi who is soon to do his national service.

The hotel is very tired and in need of a lot of updating, the door to our bathroom had been kick in by an earlier guest, so we couldn't shut the door, the children's bathroom had mold on the walls. The food was fresh, but the staff are obviously on a tight budget, so yes the left over meat does turn up as salad and yes they do serve liver on a regular basis, however most of the meals where delicious, but like others we did eat out because of the lack of choice. The hotel is quiet, you never have a fight for sun loungers and the views are wonderful. It is up a very steep hill and the hotel its self has many steep staircases. The children's play area isn't safe either and it isn't an all inclusive, apart from the 3 meals there are no snacks, no ice creams only cake at 5pm which was often very nice - still we didn't put on any weight !

What made our holiday was the staff, they tried so hard, they waited up till 3am to see vistors on to transfers to the airport, they played with the children, organised water volleyball matches, when we asked to watch the grand prix, they sorted out a large screen tv for us to watch. Turkish night was great, they got the traditional belly dancer and modern dancers, which our kids loved, they even had the children dancing on the bar. The cleaning ladies were lovely and cleaned the room ever day, but you need to give them your key so they know, and we saw them every day cleaning the comunal areas. The staff where honest about the restrictions on budget when we moaned about the lack of sugar free mixers, when we bought our own, they happily put these in the fridge at the bar and used it only for our drinks.

We won't be going again, because a lot of the staff at the end of the season where going to do thier military service,. Being in the hills does keep you fit but also it is cooler away from the town and quieter. We had a good holiday thanks to the great staff

Stayed at this resort for 12 nights. Total diasppointed. Told on arrival best room in the hotel. After reading other reviews we were looking forward to our holiday there but unfortuately the whole complex was totally run down, food unedible. Management would sit and eat barbecues whilst guests eat slop. All the left overs re appear in other dishes too so if they are not eaten appear in the salad options, like cold liver!! Very limited all inclusive and if you like cheap mixer drinks cola etc thats fine, but no fruit juice etc unless you pay for it. Room cleaned once in 12 days and that was after pleeding. Resort is on a very steep hill cardiac hill and for older people is totally unsuitable, its about 45 mins walk into Hisaranou there are buses available for 1.75 Lira but you still have to walk down the hill and back up it afterwards which is a killer.

All of the crockery and cutlery was chipped and broken and I even witnessed one of the serving staff put bread that guests had left back into the baskets for other guests to use.

Accomodation is very very basic and if you are not planning on staying at the resort but use at a base will be fine. Otherwise I would not advise anyone to stay there. Photos to follow.

Pool area was ok but 3 umberellas that were available to use, rest in shreds.

Childrens play area a danger and unsafe, no seats on swings, one had been soldered and definately not safe to leave children to play there.

This place does exaclty what we expected and more . Its not 5 star but you do get 5 star treatment off this family run hotel. Myself and my girlfriend have been a fare few places over the years and seen it all! The people who run this hotel are extremley nice and can not do enough for you no matter what it is. The hotel is up a big hill, I thought until we met a lovely couple from Wales andthey pointed out the obvious! Cheers Dean & Cath! the hill is small! Anyhow food ok drink ok slept ok and shower was mint. Fridge in the room and all other 3 star tricks. Dont be coming here if your after eating burgers and chips every day because guess what your in Turkey.

On the whole we had a fantastic 2 week holiday. The hotel is far enough away from the mayhem of Hisaronu but a short 70p bus ride away. The hotel is situated in the mountains keeping the mosquitos at bay. We woud definatley go back. We miss you Carpe Diem. Seize the day Kanka.
