“Great golf holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Hotel was excellent, staff very pleasent and attentative. We (6 golfers) went all inclusive and would advise this deal. Most drinks were international, food was on the whole pretty good, starters and sweets were great, main courses and breakfast ok. Rooms were very good as well, try to get rooms overlooking the courses.

Both courses were excellent, Pines longer and slightly better in golf challenge but enjoyed both. Using the different tees changes the challenge. You just walked onto both courses from the hotel no transfers, Good driving range and practice facilities - would definately come back.

We was there as a Group of Couples for the First time in Belek. The Golf Courses are very nice but also very crowded in May. We had some waiting times for the others before we could proceed because we all have lower handicaps.Bu the Weather and surrounding was so nice that we always enjoy every minute on the Course. Thanks to the nice Mobilebar on the Course we had always something to drinks as well.
The Hotel is also a real Golfresort with a lot of wood furnitures and big big windows to enjoy the view to the Green everywhere. of course there was also some lakings and unwished situations too. Room cleaning is poor. loved the Hotel so much that I don't want to tell too much bad words about it. But the management should check the Room Cleaning twice. The russian woman from the guestrelation was not so nice and could not give any information about Golfing at whole belek. the other reception of Golf inside the Proshop is also a mess. There are always a few ladies they always laughing and having fun, but if you ask for something they just don't have time for you and giving short answers and keep chatting. Very very unfriendly. but the Cooks and the Waiters made their job fantastic. Very friednly and always attentions for everything. I like to Thank Mr. Harun for helping us to change our Rooms also. Very friendly Manager of Reception. Thanks to him we meet also the Golf Manager Mr.Gangzafer and got many informations. Thanks to these gentlemens we already made our next booking too. They should give some lessons to the Guest Relation department as well.
There are alot of Hotels in the neighborhood too, but we was so impressed of this one, so we like to come back. Goof Courses and quality food. That was what we looking for. They also promised us some Upgrades by our Rooms if we like to come back. Very kind people

Room Tip: Chosse a Room that have a view to the Putting Green. very quite and nice for sunbathing at your own...

Hello all, I've just returned from the hotel Sueno in Belek, a party of 4 guys, we played golf every day, 3 times on both the Pines and the Dunes, with an additional round on the PGA Sultan course, and it's not true, practice doesn't make perfect! But in the best traditions of the sport of golf I've rated the courses, and hotel, with the appropriate monikers..
Pars
The hotel was fabulous, but definitely only in relation to golf, the rooms were great, my room especially was fabulous, probably the biggest, and most luxurious hotel room I've ever stayed in, it could have slept 6 people easily, and indeed it had a Turkish bath in the toilet! fabulous, light and roomy, I cant praise it enough, the food was also really nice, always good choices, and always warm, but maybe could have a little more varied at lunch time, for example I don't think I ever saw cold meats for lunch, and occasionally it would have been nice to have a ham salad, or something light, and not a full-blown lunch, but that's only a minor, and very personal criticism, as there was always a huge selection of food, including fresh fruit. The views of the courses from the restaurants, over the lake, were fantastic, but If you went there as anon-golfer, then I'm pretty sure you would soon tire of the views, and want more amenities, but like I say, the hotel is totally dedicated to golf, and you might be disappointed, so it only scores overall as a par.
Birdies
The courses, and remember they are resort courses, are magnificent. sometimes the tees don't get moved as often as you would like, and some are a little dry and sandy, but overall they have fabulous layouts, true but fast greens, and well manicured fairways. And don't believe all you read about the Dunes being the little brother, just because its shorter. It might be shorter, but you have to think about every single shot on the Dunes course, it's a real gem, and the 8th hole is just about as difficult a hole as I've ever played, and to be honest I preferred the Dunes because you literally just don't know whats around the corner. Both courses are a real challenge, and 50 to the turn for mid-handicap golfers was not unusual... Don't hesitate to play these courses tho, they are well worth their birdie rating!
Also a birdie rating to the PGA Sultan course, greens, tees, layout clubhouse, facilities are all magnificent, It's definitely the best course I've played in Belek, and I've played around 8 different courses there.
Bogie...
Well, I hate to dish out any bogies, but there is one that grates on me.. It's the buggies...
Officially you cant book one till an hour before you use it, but in effect thats just like telling a german (no offence intended gentlemen!) he cant put his towel on a sunlounger...
The first 2 days we did the honourable thing, and duly went on time, and there were no buggies left for a 9:15 am round, so we had to walk round..
so we joined the germans, got in line at the golf reception at 06:30 am, for a round at 10:15, and got the buggies we wanted..
I really have to emphasise that PEOPLE COMPLAINED EVERY SINGLE DAY!! no buggies if you tried to book one after 07:15 some days, It's pretty atrocious really, short sighted, not customer friendly, and will definitely put me off going to the Sueno again.
Don't Sueno management listen to the customers? or read tripadvisor? It's a really bad indictment of them that that they can provide magnificent rooms, fabulous food, gorgeous golf courses, wonderful service, and that people don't want to go back because they dont invest in a few dozen buggies, that would probably pay for themselves in one season!!
Oh and another small gripe.. When you come off the 2 courses you walk directly through the 'Birdie Bar', it's actually set on a pontoon in the lake, It's a wonderful setting.... But, (And there's always a but..) Even the All inclusive customers have to pay for a beer there, thats just plain stupid... you have to walk through the hotel, leave your clubs at reception, then go the bar above the birdie bar to get your welcoming beer after a round.. like I say, its stupid..

So that about sums things up, Great hotel and food, fabulous courses, but spoiled somewhat because of the buggy fever that kinda consumes everybody. Sort it Sueno...

Room Tip: I cant speak for rest of the rooms, but 2142 was fabulous

just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel and was a bit worried about lots of things after reading some of the reviews on site ,should not have worried hotel was packed best food we have had on a golf holiday some thing for every one and more. and we have stayed at some top spots including the Belfrey ,Celtic manor, LA manga, and top spots in Portugal. This was amassing ,rooms huge, golf courses really challanging, and we pre booked t times for 11 oclock before travel,on arrival it was 35degrees so the pro shop manager changed them for as every day, and also had no problem getting 4 buggies every day we will definatly be returning.

Room Tip: we had 10 single rooms all had 2 beds and were huge not 1 complaint.

My party of 12 played the Dunes course as part of a package, we stayed at the Cornelia Diamond Hotel.
When we arrived at the course they said that no buggies were available. We had 1200 to 1230 tee times and some of our group are old and need a buggy and it was a very hot day so we all had to carry water. Staff at the pro shop were very rude and would not budge on this until one of my friends managed to bribe the caddy staff and we got one buggy. The course itself was in excellent condition and a pleasure to play---would have been a lot more comfortable with a buggy! If you are not a resident do not play this course as you will not be made welcome. All other courses in Belek are fantastic and service is excellent. Steer clear of Sueno Dunes at all cost.

Have recently visited this hotel and in general it has been good the girls on the bar area are brilliant. The only problem has been is that it was 36 deg and no golf buggies unless you have a medical report which I must admit that was not on my packing list. If you are going to play golf here and need a buggy go somewhere else.
Also tried to talked to the manager but they did not want too know and could not care what a shame.

Played the Dunes course as part of a package (i.e. not resident at the hotel).

Overnight there was a lot of rain and when we got to the course they said that no buggies were allowed. Didnt bother me as I normally carry/trolley but some of our group are old and need a buggy. Staff at the pro shop were very rude and when I went back and said that some players had buggies they said that only residents were allowed buggies due to the heavy rain !!!!

Greenstaff on the course were shocking, not stopping to cut grass / strim when we were playing our tee shots and we were asked to speed up by a marshal. It was pointed out that we were waiting for the group in front and that the group behind were two holes behind! The Marshal said 'speed up or your off the course'

Greens were also the worse we played on all week. Hole cuts were crowned and look like they hadnt moved position for a couple of weeks so areas around the holes were bare. Green speed was inconsistent and very uneven due to 100s of old unrepaired pitch marks

Bar staff tried to con us when we paid in Euros rather than Turish Lira... this was the final straw.

If you are not a resident do not play this course as you will not be made welcome. All other courses in Belek are fantastic and service is excellent. Steer clear of Sueno dunes at all cost.
