“Big one, small charme”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Nice for family reunion...huge structure, decent, very good food. You need to love cats, if you are alergic to, then stay far from...they are everywhere inluding on your dish.
Swimming pools, beach, a very turistical resort and therefore lacking of any charme, as the whole area.

Room Tip: Take a room vith sea view. The rest is too sad.

This is our 3rd trip to this area at this time of year and our third different hotel, we stayed 9/11-16/11 and all I can say is I would definitely like to return here again, there were plenty of plus points for staying here and they far out way the negatives.
First the plus points, The food, wether in the main restaurant, the beach restaurant or the coffee and cake bar, was excellent, the choice was vast and should cater to most people tastes at least 10 different types of freshly baked breads, a huge salad bar, various cheeses and cold meats, then 4 or 5 pasta dishes, rices, stews, roast meats, kebabs, meatballs, 2 or 3 fish dishes, chips, potatoes, boiled veg,a dieters corner, fruit and enough cakes, gateaux and baklava to sink a battleship.
The drink, as well as the normal local brands available, you could also have branded spirits and beers included in the all inclusive deal, including jack Daniels, Courvoisier bandy, absolute vodka and leffe Belgium beer, at least 10 different cocktails are also available.
The decore and interiors are beautiful with plenty of space, all kept spotlessly clean, the pictures really do not do it justice.
Our room was huge with 2 balconies with great views over the pool area and then out to sea, two TVs (there were several channels that were in English including a film channel) the beds for me were alittle firm but they were comfortable the minibar was used a lot and the bathrobe and slippers were used everyday as well . The cleaners came in everyday and did an excellent job and even left us towel creations.
The indoor pool and spa area was good, the pool is 1.4 meters deep all over and heated, the jacuzzi didn't seem to work it felt chilly and only some of the jets didn't work but this was the only complaint, the gym was well equipped.
The outdoor pools one was open and one was closed but they were freezing so preferred to swim in the sea
The daytime activities were well organised and there was a good choice

Now the negatives, reception staff not very welcoming and never smiled, this was not the same with the rest of the staff though,
Very hard to find a seat in the lobby after the evening meal, certainly not enough provided,
The evenings entertainment was poor certainly not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel, a quiz , karaoke, bingo, one belly dancer, thank goodness for a pack of cards.
None of the shops in the hotel had any prices on the items , so we just walked past every day, never saw anyone in them..
Some staff spoke English perfectly, some spoke some english, some spoke the odd word and some just didn't seem to know anything other than German, this seemed to be the language spoken the most.
Mosquitoes,mosquitoes,mosquitoes take precautions.

To get out and about there is a bus stop out side , to get a bus to antalya or side 7 euros return, you can walk into belek about a 25 minute walk, or 5 euros each way in a taxi. Great market on a Saturday, lots of shops yes they will haggle and harass you to buy from them, there is a great englishbar in belek that does wonderful bacon rolls, or a full English breakfast with friendly staff.

Overall I'd give the hotel 8 1/2 out of ten and look forward to returning back here

Room Tip: Sea view room is great , rooms over the spa rather than the main restaurant may be quieter.

I Have visited this hotel on 2 occasions once as a couple and with extended family. Both visits were out of season, April & May.

The hotel exterior and reception is all very grand and aesthetically pleasing. The pool is huge, maybe the largest freeform pool I have seen, and the grounds are well kept. The property has about a 100 metre beach frontage with security on each end. There is also a pier where you can chill in the day, and looks like they have events there some evenings.

The rooms are pretty standard, but well kept, the mini fridges are well kept and are part of the all-inc deals.

The buffet restaurants are a bit of a free for all, but you can get around this by getting there when it opens, which suits me as i prefer to eat earlier than later. There is normally a decent range of foods. There are a couple of a la cartes. We tried the italian which was EUR 10. Quantity and quality were of an excellent standard.

I am from London, and one of the core things i enjoy about this hotel is that you can have a holiday and totally get unwind and get away from all things British. I didnt see any other British tourists here, there are no British newspapers for sale and the hotel employees English isnt great, but it is easy to communicate the basics if you have any problems. The clientele appears to mainly be Russia with a few Germans. You also dont have english speaking Reps from UK tour operators trying to sell cheap excursions.

I would recommend if you want a All Inc Holiday, and are adaptable to getting away from everything British and considering other guests with different cultural backgrounds.

The organisation at the hotel is bad. People are drinking alcohol drinks in the terrace after midnight and they are shouting. It is impossible to sleep as outside the hotel it is very noisy.

Just some staff members have been kind to us. Special thanks to Shukriyye Hanim from the dinner service for her kind service and help.

Otherwise I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to those who are looking for a calm rest.

Stayed at this hotel for a week but no one speaks English and no Thomas Cook rep at the hotel ...hotel was clean-food was ok but you had to queue for food it was like a free for all push and shove with very rude Russians i have never seen so much food wasted in all my life as they took so much on there plates it was so bad we waited till 9.30 am when most of them had left and the evening meal was the same in fact we ate out in Belek two evenings to feel more civilised. Pools were lovely but people with children there are no attendance's to watch them only in the water shute pool... Entertainment was good for children but you had a lot of loud booming music going on a lot of the time. Just hope if you are English you do not fall ill at this hotel. Definitely would not go back
