This hotel is situated just outside the town of Belek and is right on the beach where they have paragliding, banana boats, scuba etc. The rooms are fairly basic but are clean and a generous size. We were on the 5th floor and had a balcony with a stunning sea view.

The food is good and plentiful and there is a fairly good choice a lot of which is cooked on the spot so is very fresh. They also have a theatre where they have the nightly entertainments. There is a disco which is open till 2am and whilst we were there they held a "foam" party, a beach party with a very impressive laser show and also a pool disco one afternoon. The entertainment was excellent and they even have their own dance troop. If you are around late in the evening they often rehearse once it becomes cooler - definitely worth watching.

The hotel has three stunning outdoor pools which are a necessity to escape from the searing sun. It got up to 125 whilst we were there. One pool has water slides and a children's area.

On the whole - fab hotel but must issue the following warning...

I do not advise groups of females to travel to this hotel expecially with teenage girls. The bar staff are constantly asking women to meet them on the beach after hours and they are very persistent. They load your drinks and a normal measure of spirits would be about 6/7 times the size of a UK measure. They make every attempt to ensure you are drunk and then pester you. I can not stress this strongly enough. After just coming back from a girls break, 2 x 40 yrs and 2 x 15 yr olds. Our girls were hounded constantly by the bar staff which in some ways spoilt our holiday.

I would recommend this hotel but, ladies, make sure you bring your husbands with you!

Period: 05.07.2006-12.07.2006; All Inclusive

Location : the hotel is a part of a chain of hotels 100 m from the sea; it seems that you are lost in a city of hotels; there are no shops around, clubs, the Belek town, a small town with a few shops is 15 minutes by bus from hotel (3 Euros/trip/pers/around every half hour arriving);
great for families who just want to rest, who have children; not ok for young people who love to visit or have fun; a very quiet and peaceful location;

Room : big, clean, not luxurious, but very nice and clean; small bathroom in comparison with the room, just with liquid soap, no shampoo, or stuff like this usually found in a 5 stars hotel to the bathroom; small tub, clean ; when arrived I have spotted a brown spot above the toilet seat :( ; otherwise, flowers on a towel on the floor in the bathroom; very nice flowers on the bed (we were in the honeymoon and the travel agency announced it to the hotel before our arrival :) ; found fruits in a basket in the room; in the small bar just water ; 2-3 bottles changed daily; very clean laundry; free safe box; small TV; not a perfect view from window over the sea, because the hotel is built perpendicular towards the sea;

Pools: 2 big and one small for children; Very very nice and very clean;

Sea: warm, very salted, very clean; big free umbrellas and deck chair;

Weather: magnificent

Stuff: very friendly and attentive

3 Restaurants: 1 a la carte, one in interior and a lovely one on a beautiful terrace, with sea view.

Food: a lot of food, very good and divers; local beverages; non natural juices; at dinner you could order free juices (included for AI package) only before 8 o’clock (unpleasant surprise); little seats very clean and specially built from wood for children - a very nice idea

Hotel: very nice, clean, quiet, with a 2-3 small shops;

Visitors: most of them Russians and Germans, but also French, Romanians, Dutch

Entertainment: every night hotel spectacles, billiards, ping-pong, sea games, pool games (the hotel has a very nice team of entertainers over the pool daily, a few hours; they are very nice); internet

SHORTLY: A WARM AND VERY NICE PLACE TO SPEND A QUIET VACATION

“Not for the English.”

Maritim Pine Beach Resort

We went from the 4th to 18th of May with my wife and 2 year old. The Hotel didnt actually wake up until the second week. Some Bars and pool slides etc are not open until then so go after the middle of May. It was silly things like the beach towels not being available and bars not being open at pool side until then that spoiled it a bit, but only a bit.

This was after all a cheap holiday so please keep this in mind after all is said.

People: Fantastic....really friendly i was surprised as it always states these things in brouches etc but wow super people.

Food: Good variety chips chicken fish in fact you name it. Word of warning take pg tips with you as the tea it naff.Also no kettle in room so take a travel one.
No stomach bugs when we were there or heard off in fact from leaving guests.

Room: We faced some tennis courts and although we didnt see the sea from there it was peacful. Spacey and clean.

Thomas cook rep: Oh dear what were they thinking employing this women she didnt know one end of Turkey from the other and seemed to be there for the fellers.

Pools: Lost count 5 last count 10/10 for pools and slides etc.

Money: Take euros.

Flight: Flew by Eddie the Eagle. Bump crash bang. Oh yes and if you are over 4ft best of luck with leg room.

All in all a good holiday but be aware it is mostly based for Russians. The staff dont speak a lot of English. I think given everything i would go back to Turkey but maybe a hotel based more for English. I know what your thinking why go to another country etc but it does get you down when even the kids club staff cant speak to your kid in English. My son is bright but even he cant pick up Russian in 2 weeks.

Well as i said that was the negatives but thats it. So if you want sun and to chill out it worth every penny.

P.S a friend of mine went with to girls 11 and 13 and they loved the activities.

29/4/2008 we arrived at hotel after midnight we were givin our all inclusive letter which turned out to be false information.i have never ever been on a all inclusive were say from the hours of 7am to 12 midnight there is a break between meals.The first 2 days we were there it said that the nautalis bar had snacks running from 12 noon till 4pm not a thing to eat in between these hours and the cookies served at 4pm what a joke if you like bagels with feta cheese in i only found 1 sweet thing on there and that was it.Your next meal is not until 7pm so you have a 3 hour break between meals ALL INCLUSIVE.Now on to the nyx bar it says open late for snacks its not its in the main restaraunt.On the saturday we went to belek market i enjoyed it you can really barter them down but they do start of very expensive.DONT sit down for drinks in market though cost me about £25 for 5 cokes and 2 coffee,s.The whole of belek caters very heavily for russians and germans and the prices are very very expensive.Make sure you pack your sun glasses because i bought a pair from the shop in hotel and they cost me about £25 for a pair of copy £3 back home pair was gutted.If your taking kids make sure you either pack blow up beds rubber rings goggles etc or you could be set to fork out best part of £50 in the shop for them or take a trip outside gates jump on tractor train or taxi 6euro and you will get much cheaper in belek but haggle down because still expensive.Get down pool side before 6.30am because you have no chance of getting a good sun lounger if you dont the germans and russians put there towels on them.We found the best place to go was the water park you can easily get a lounger there and the kids will love it as well under the stairs there are hundreads of spare loungers.The staff were friendly. The rooms were very clean and food was ok especially the salads not english food though apart from chips.I would not recomend this holiday for english people.

“Brilliant”

Maritim Pine Beach Resort

After reading the reviews on here i was quite scared of going as i thought it was going to be horrible. When we were arrived the receptions was really helpful. They don't speak much English but they could understant what we were asking. We were taking to our room and it was lovely. There was water in the mini fridge everyday, towels changed everyday and the cleaners did different thing with towels on the bed each day.(like made swans) On the first night we was walking round the hotel to find out what there was to do (like you do) and one of the indoor pool attenders came out and gave us a tour on what there was. The indoor swimmming pool was brilliant just the right temperature. We didnt go in the outdoor pools as it was very cold but they are very big sizes. The temperature was alot better than what i thought it would be for the time of year. All the staff our really friendly and always remebered what we was drinking. . No only problems there were is that the majority are russian and germans but they didnt cause us any problems and that there is much to do outside of the hotel. But apart from that our stay at the Pine beach was absoultly brilliant and would definalty go back
