“Top Class Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

We stayed here for two weeks August 24 to Sept 7th and loved the hotel. It was the full package.
The staff are a credit to the hotel, all were very friendly and would do anything to help you. We were even served a morning coffee in the pool bar before it had even opened.
The rooms were large and the mini bar was well stocked with drinks and chocolate. A few more english channels would have been nice, but to be honest i am not on holiday to watch TV. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless.

The food was lovely and so many places to eat. The A la carte restaurants were first class and could be called fine dining. Five courses of perfectly cooked and well presented food. I can only think that the people who gave these a bad review wanted a plate piled sky high with chips, well you could do that in the buffet. The location round the lake with the fountain show is so romantic.
The Fishbone restaurant is also a lovely setting being huts on stilts on a lake.
You could have lunch served to you in the mexican or Fishbone restaurant, help yourself outside at the food court or eat in the buffet.
The great thing about the Rixos was no limit on the number of times you could eat in the A la carte restaurants, and all but two were no extra cost. This is very important to me in a holiday, freedom of choice.
The coffee shop was great and the cakes and chocolate very yummy and we liked the rain storm there every evening.
The pool and pool bars were kept very clean. I loved the fact that it was proper Coke light out of bottles . Never had a problem getting a sunbed lots of them and you could have two towels each no problem. The pool was massive and we were up the quiet end by the waterfull but there was lots of games and activities down the other end.
The gym was first class and i would like to mention the man who ran it , he kept it spotless and was there to offer help and advice. Top rate equipment and in good working order. I was down there at 7 every morning and it was a pleasure to work out in.
The shows we saw were really good i loved the dance troupe they were amazing. We had my daughter with us and she was impressed with the live DJ every evening at the Pool Bar he was doing live mixing and it was all english club music. If you wanted quiet then you could have moved down the pool to the hightlights bar. The bars inside were also lovely to sit and relax in the evening.
I loved the live groups at the beach club and could not believe i was working out down the gym in the morning to 2 unlimited on my i pod and then saw them live at the Rixos in the evening.
The pool party where they filled the pool with inflatables, and then big blocks of ice, again to misic from a DJ was great fun on an afternoon.
The waiters coming round with freshly blended fruit juices and iced coffee and cold fruit was a nice touch. So was the freezer on the beach full of magnums , twisters, cornettos and other ice creams.
There was always something going on and some activity or party at the Rixos and every thing they did was so professional no half measures anywhere. We will be going back next year.

Here at Rixos for 2nd year gave it 5 star last year but bit disappointed this time there are so many children and no separate adult areas at all. Children in lobby bar at 10.30pm running around and a woman changing baby's nappy on the furniture not acceptable sadly don't think we will come back next year.

I went to Rixos Belek with my girlfriend for a relaxing 3 day getaway. From minute one the staff were rude and inattentive. I am Turkish and my gf is half Korean half Italian. The staff thought I wasn't local and were talking about disgusting stuff constantly. Very unprofessional and very rude staff. One of them almost got into a fight with me! when I asked him why he'd point us to a dirty table during lunch time. The crowd is a bit strange too. Extremely conservative people might make you uncomfortable. The dinners are ridiculous. You have to fight for your food. some elbowing and cutting lines should be expected. The cooks give you your food with bare hands& there is never enough sun beds. Staff doesn't speak English. And when they speak Turkish (trust me on this) they are being very rude. other than that the facilities are okay. very overpriced and honestly I had a very unpleasant vacation. I do regret going to this hotel and will never recommend to anyone I know.

Room Tip: I had the sea view room. Nothing special. When people walk in the hallway you get to hear everything...

We stayed her towards the end of August with twin boys that are 10. What can I say the hostel is massive and you are well looked after. The positives first:
The food and drink quality was brilliant with premium brands on hand and food was a very high standard. We stayed in the Troy rooms near the aqua park and these were massive and clean with a full stocked mini bat everyday. The place is massive so be aware of the walking around you have to do.
Negatives: The pool was to warm which we have experienced before at the Cornelia Duluxe and so we all had tummy upsets and ear infections. The main buffet restaurant is small for the whole hotel even with the alacarts, so you do tend to fight for a seat and food so you need to be early to avoid stress. Also booking the Ala carts you had to be up at 8 to use the automated system which we never made which was a shame.
Overall a fantastic holiday that I would recommend to anybody young or old you won't be disappointed.

Loved it here - very relaxing, felt totally spoiled and looked after. Rooms were spacious and clean, food was excellent, staff very helpful, beautiful grounds, lovely beach, had a great time and would love to go back. Went for 10 days end of June/ start of July.

Favorite things were... attentive staff on roller skates at the pool bar offering cocktails and snacks whenever they caught your eye; the beautiful Fishbone restaurant at lunchtime; the fab and very comfortable loungers on the beach with full-length canopies for total relaxation; the beautiful gardens and pool which were impeccably kept; having the indoor pool with crazy-fast waterslides all to ourselves one day, the dancing fountains and (on behalf of Ben, my 6 year old) the ice-cream waiter.

Visited this mega hotel for the second time to spend a week with my husband in June (sorry for the late review). The hotel is huge and shiny with a mass of features. Check in is pleasant, seated at a table with welcome drinks.
Although our room was perfectly maintained with a large bathroom with everything you would expect the style could do with a refresh, but this is merely cosmetic. The room was large with a balcony from which both the coloured "dancing waters" fountains and sea could be seen.
Breakfast was good and had a large variety. A choice f rooms to sit in, or terrace- depending on the time/day waiters for tea/coffee could be a little slow but we never had to wait for too long.
The pool is large with plenty of loungers, if you come down late can be hard to find some but we always succeeded even at 12/1pm. The beach is large and well organised and has divine pavilions to hire at the private end with full food and drink service to them- delightful.
Dinner is served in either the hotel' s a la carte retaurants, "Fishbone" is a beautiful setting and had wonderful food, or in the main restaurant. The buffet can be a bit samey but there is so much choice it's not too much of a problem. Desserts do run out a bit and the hotel could do with making more so if you have a sweet tooth be early! Loads of fresh fruit, strawberries and cherries included.
Staff bring freshly made melon juices onto the beach along with fruit punnets and frozen fruit and sandwiches throughout the day and ice-creams around the pool. There is a daily "food court" ope all day where you can help your self to a mass of food and an afternoon coffee shop/patisserie where you can enjoy coffee and cakes in a mock French street under artificial Thunder and lightning.
Each evening there is a show in the hotels amphitheatre, the two we saw were both reasonably good. Later in the evening entertainment moved into the bar where a DJj blared out full volume euro-pop, wrong location, wrong volume, it would be nice to have an open air bar where you weren't deafened. The only bad thing about the trip.
Once again we had a great trip.

We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful.
While we were there my daughter broke her arm, no ones fault, just an accident, the hotel done everything they could to help us, they helped with transport to and from the hospital, they let us keep our room on the last day, they sent flowers and fruit which were all little touches that were really appreciated. I cant recommend this hotel enough, we had an amazing time and would definitely go back.

Room Tip: There were no family rooms available but were told the hotel rooms slept 4, we had a room which had...
