Our family of three stayed in a family room at the Hotel for 10 nights. Our first time in Turkey and at the Paloma Grida. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it.
Room - spacious, clean and fresh with king size bed and single bed for a family room. There appears to be a variety of rooms available at the hotel and there are private villas with their own pool.
Pools - clean, plenty of sunloungers available. Two large pools, one children's pool with slides, one baby/toddler pool and another large pool with 4 slides, great fun for adults and children. LIFEGUARDS are situated at all the pools and at the beach, safe environment for peace of mind.
Sandy Beach straight off the hotel, clean. Beach activities available.
Spa - Gorgeous spa, lots of massages on offer...Male and female masseurs !! Reasonably priced..
Food - Very helpful staff, couldn't do enough for you. Large main restaurant, very busy, eating area outside and in..Disadvantage of outside is the smoking, unfortunately numerous people did smoke ! Plenty of food on offer, however it became repetitive at times, for those who have done all inclusive holidays, you'll know what I mean. The hotel did have a Chinese restaurant, although we had to pay 8euros each to eat there, the meal was lovely but portions were small.
There was another small restaurant near the beach, small variety of food.
For those who have young children and at times can be fussy eaters, there is plenty for them to try. Several bar areas in the hotel. Beer and wine very nice.
Childrens/Adult Entertainment - Children's activities to do in the day with the hotels kids club. Additional kids club activities with Thomas Cook, but only if you have booked a package holiday with them, otherwise it costs £5 for two hours (the staff at this club are english).
Nighttime mini disco every evening for all children of all ages. A variety of evening shows afterwards, entertaining but amateur at times.
Other info - Take Euros, liras or U.S Dollars. They usually have prices in euros. Turkey isn't cheap, hotel shops not cheap for swimming aids or snacks.
Go to the city centre/ Saturday markets nearby the hotel (10min walk from hotel)
Be ready to barter at the shops ! Nothing is real !!!! But great designer copies.
The guests at the hotel were mainly Russian and German, this proved very interesting at times. Staff were very tolerant of their rudeness and belligerent behaviour.
