“Wonderful stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We were two families and we stayed at the resort for 10 days and it was amazing!! We were well greeted when we first arrived especially by Bilal (bellboy) who was the friendliest staff in the resort...kids ADORED him!! Always there to welcome us and answer questions and recommend places to go to when we decided to go into the city for a day. Resort has been recently renovated so rooms and facilities are in best condition, except for the rooms in the main building.....heard not as new. We stayed in the Jasmine Lake Houses, a few minutes’ walk to the main pool and beach but were perfect for a good night sleep and away from all the loud music! Rooms were extremely spacious however, were not cleaned well during our stay and you constantly need to remind housekeeping for tissue boxes and empty the trash cans. Resort caters for all ages and there are continuous activities and entertainment. Big slides, kids' slides (which the kids did not want to leave!! AMAZING), kids’ club, pool activities, airgun shooting, horseback riding (at an extra cost), small zoo (for free), tennis courts, football fields, segway (at an extra cost), beach volleyball, and a lovely pier perfect for relaxation! There's a variety of good food and you're guaranteed you'll never go hungry!! There was a daily night show and this was the highlight of our holiday. Shows were never repeated and they were AWESOME! To name a few they had Hareem Al Sultan, Cabana, Burlesque, Hot Chocolate. Staff was very friendly in general, even if they did not speak English. Majority of the guests were Russians and then Germans and most of the music played was catering for the two languages however, we requested that more English music to be played and staff responded very well to that. More sun beds need to be provided especially around the main pool area. In general we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it especially for families.

Room Tip: Jasmine Lake Houses are quieter and newer but need to walk a few minutes to the main pools and beach

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

Just returned from a week's stay. Since the hotel is ust renovated by another operator iitially we were a bit reserved to book a hotel with no fresh reviews. However, we left positively impressed. Hotel grounds are green and well kept, pool areas clean, sun beds and towels new. Had a room in the main building, which was still fresh from renovation. Good service, attentive staff. The food in the main restaurant was of excellent quality and varied in the choice over the week. Great variety of vegetables, meats and fish and local spacialities and pasta dishes for kids. The lunch near the beach is good as well. The hotel is really good for kids- impressive water slides (new and quite safe), small zoo with pony rides, several good quality playgrounds.
Free wi fi everywhere, quality variea but all in all good. The animators communicate in english, german and russian, however, most of evening entertainment is mor russian oriented.
Several drawbacks though, although could be written off to fresh start of the season :
- the indoor pool did no seem to be cleaned properly. We saw the same pieces of garbage inside and around for two days in a row. The pool has really strong smell of chlorine, our son ended with allergy. The pool itself is great, especially in rainy days, but no one seemed to take responsability of it. Outside pools are really good. More signs of wc directions could be useful still.
- the cleaniness of the room (especially under the beds) varied from cleaning lady to cleaning lady.
- small things like box of tissues and crook for bath robe would be expected in the bathroom of a 5* hotel.
- overheard the russian speaking children animator being quite rude to kids.
- evening disco music very loud until midnight, goes through closed windows.
- air condition quite noisy.
All in all - it is a good place for family stay, we definately enjoyed the stay and will choose the hotel again.
