“a potentially great resort hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Firstly, if you have children stay between 1 May and 30 September or all of the child activities are closed, bar tenpin bowling and indoor pool. Secondly whether you are a golfer or gofer (for your kids) beware this is a very busy conference hotel and can be noisy.

The staff, in the main, are pleasant and helpful but need a little more understanding of English; the Guest Relations staff were excellent; the Receptionists - men - seemed aloof and abrupt; the Concierge less than knowledgeable and of little actual assistance.

The main Buffet restaurant food is excellent but service in the main poor to average; the main problem is the "bun fight" for tables as there is no Host or Hostess to plan table occupancy and guide you to a table - this was particularly a problem when a large conference group was there. The a la carte restaurants that were open - we were out of season - Saporo Italian was very good, the pub food was bland - when you could find the restaurant hidden down a side corridor.

The golf was very good but the service patchy: the first time we played, we were met at the entrance our bags collected and taken to the Caddy Master area and at the end of the round our bags were transported to the entrance; the second time they were taken to the Caddy Master but at the end of the round we had to carry then up a pretty steep slope by ourselves.

Room Tip: A sea view room or you could end up looking across at other rooms. Definitely do NOT accept a ground...

My family and I stayed here from 13 April for a week as part of an Easter break. Our children aged 6, 8, and 11 were disappointed that the Atlantis kids area was closed. We hit the Winter season and so not everything is open which made it a little limited on things to do. The smaller pool was partially heated and the slide pool wasn't so you either had to brave it or not. We usually come to Belek in August and thought we would try a different time of year and did enjoy the temperature of 70s but am led to believe we were lucky with the weather this early in April as we had 6/7 sunny days. We thought the rooms of which we had 2 were very nice and spacious, decorated to a high quality with wet rooms and bath. We were on the ground floor so had 2 lovely gardens.

Pros
Rooms
Bar area /Lobby
Spotlessly clean everywhere
Staff
Facilities but only in summer season
kids club and surroundings (beautiful garden area with shade and trees)
Beach area
The Faldo course is in excellent condition with very tight fairways so bring plenty of balls and average price. There are several great courses nearby which are a lot more open and would be very enjoyable to play. My husband plays off 4.
tennis courts x 10 with 3 surfaces

Cons
Buffet restaurant average food but again not sure if there was a limited selection due to season
Very large complex so if not that busy there isn't much atmosphere
Room service pretty limited selection ie for breakfast and cold food often when delivered
Bit dark around shops area and Biscotti lacks atmosphere
Italian restaurant bit plastic
€10 pp charge for a la carte although we didn't pay for our 2 younger ones

Conclusion

As we have been to: Gloria Golf, Voyage Belek and Lykia World Antalya, and now Cornelia . If we were to return we think it would be fab in May with full Summer facilities all available, which we need with the children and more reliable weather. If you are just a golfer then it's fine this time of year.

Superb hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
We stayed in one of the Villa's at the rear of the hotel and the space is great. Swimming pool straight from your own decking!
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a livingroom. Rooms are spacious and 24hr room service included :-)
Restaurant's are all good and choices of food in main buffet restaurant is great especially the freshly made omelettes with your choice of filling at breakfast.
Unfortunately the outdoor areas where closed due to time of year but water and fruit etc was available next to the pool on the few warm days we had.
Looked like there are lots of activities and things to keep you entertained during the summer season.
Spa with indoor pool was good with plenty steam rooms etc to choose from.
All inclusive with international drinks 24hrs a day.
Staff really looked after you with table service and bar staff in 24hr bar v.funny and kept us entertained.
Overall a superb hotel and holiday.

Amazing hotel and amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Marvelous rooms and places, golf course is incredible. Guarantee that you will gain weight, food is so delicious and there are so many to choose from. All standards are very high. Liked it very much.

Room Tip: Even the smallest rooms are designed beautifully. There is nothing I can add.

Very good hotel with a new qualitative equipment and super surroundings -golf club was amazing ,i did not feel myself as i am in Turkey ,but somewhere at Swiss golf grounds )
Just a cozy ,modern and big room ,good bathroom cos of it separate shower tube with bathroom ,so you have a choise what to use better for yourself. Special words about the SPA -is just very good level, cool atmosphere,a big choise of variety things to do inside -as massage rooms, large pool area ,jacuzzy's and amazing after-treatment relax lounge with it's sofas and different choice of tea or juice bar. We had an unforgettable massage from experienced Thai woman ,she been so polite ,professional and had so much of relaxation and pleasure for the whole hour of that treatment. The best place to indulge your stressful body and mind )

The food in the restaurant was good, just did not payed an attention to it ,was just tasty and do not remember what i have been eaten cos of many other nice things had happened in that glorious hotel .) Disco was very fun also ,we been dancing until the sunrise.

My review is a bit late for this holiday but I have to write a review to say how wonderful it was when we went! Me my husband and baby (8 month old) went to the Cornelia Diamond in October last year 2012 and had the most amazing time ever. We have been to some pretty amazing places but this I think tops the lot! The place for a start was absolutly spotless it was huge and extremly elegant and pretty. The staff were so lovely and catered to your ever need! Our room was beautiful so clean and big and the view we had over looking the pool was priceless! The food was so nice they had so much to choose from and so much of it even including baby food (tins) if I would have know I wouldnt have had to fill up my suitcase of baby food jars! The pool was so clean and big and the kids club was out of this world ideal place for children they have a kids club with wonderful staff who would play with the kids in the playroom and also a big fair ground with bumper cars, a merry go round and a train that our son went on everyday at anytime of the day he wanted to! We went in October so a bit out of season so was not very busy but I can imagine summertime its very busy so kids may que for the rides still they will have a great time! The also had a lovely kids disco with light up dance floor which my baby loved and the entertainment of an evening was also really good the acts they had in were great! - I cannot rate this hotel any higher if I tried it was brilliant!!! We would love to come back here although this year is out of the question as we have a big Florida family holiday to go to but we are returning next year 2014 without a doubt!!!! I have recommend this hotel to everyone I know its the best you will have the best time if you book to come here!

We've visited Belek for the last six years to play Golf as a group and stayed at the Cornelia Diamond for the last four years, over that period the service has remained consistently high, the food has remained good varied and plentiful and we are always made very welcome. We noticed this year that all of the ala carte restraunts have started to charge instead of just two of them.

Faldo course remains a very challenging and interesting course, which again we must have played over ten times now, but it still gives us something to think about. Good venue and good value
