Our hotel staff recommended the place after we mentioned we wanted to eat some meat. When we got there, the manager offered us a seat literally in the entrance with heavy passing of customers from the terrasse, the entrance and the waiting staff, we politely declined and asked if we could sit on the terrasse. We were brought to our table where we were greeted by our waiter who barely spoke English (which in itself is not a problem) BUT... Then the nightmare started. We were 4 people and our waitress left after only two people had ordered drinks? The two waters were brought, with only one glass? We were able to order our food and some more drinks after 15-20 and trying to get the attention of our waitress several times. The food was very tasty and amazingly prepared! Too bad the poor service didn't give the kitchen all the merit they deserve. The other waitress (poor her) kept clearing our waitress' tables, ours included. Through the main meak we ordered another two bottles of water, and again we were brought only 1 glass?! (our original glasses had been cleared by then).
In the end, we stood up and walked to the cash after waiting too long for our bill. It was very unfortunate as we left very disappoited with the service. I have been working in 4-5 star restaurants for the last 10 years and have been dinning out a lot and this was by far the worst service I have ever had or witnessed! It goes to prove how the service is primordial in your dinning experience (especially after a perfect evening the two previous evenings in our hotel and restaurant in Italy!
In the end, the terrasse is situated to close to the ongoing traffic so its noisy and you breath car fumes so sit inside!
