“TO FEEL ... the best in the Region”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

Amazing rooms, fantastic services avaliable for the one´s like good fod, gymn, spa, massage... all avaliable 365 day sper year. Well formed staff... not easy to find better with that price.

HIgh suggest to spend one or more nights here! It´s really well located, near all the city centre of TOMAR (historical parrt), no need of car or any other poluient transport to feel TOMAR.

I can see this being a grand hotel back in the 90s...but it is time for some updates, especially if they want to maintain their 4 stars rating.

Overall, the location was good, ample parking and a short walk to town. The room was spacious and the balcony was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pleasant with the best croissant we had in Portugal so far. I'd recommend this hotel if you happen to be in Tomar and needed to stay somewhere comfortable.

Room Tip: A room in the back facing the river is calm and quite

We stopped off here overnight while viewing the convent and I can only say that I wished we could have stayed longer, what an excellent hotel, the entrance is grand and very welcoming, the rooms were spacious, the service was very good and the restaurant was great and inexpensive. Normally, when you get a good deal you find yourself in the broom cupboard (small rooms) but our room was very comfortable providing a good nights sleep and the view fro balcony over the river and swimming pool certainly was not the 'cheap' room.

Room Tip: If you have a choice, then go for the rear rooms overlooking the river, the front rooms overlook the...

This hotel was the sister hotel of the larger Miragem Hotel in Cascais,Portugal. The lobby was even nicer than the bigger hotel and the staff were very helpful with information. We were here for a few days and it was the highlight of our stay. The prices were excellant as well. The restaurant within the hotel is again first class...would return again!!

Room Tip: Our room and balcony overlooked the pool and a small river by the city park. It was quaint and priv...

I was surprised by the modern elegance of Hotel dos Templarios. It sort of resembles an upscale chain hotel from the exterior, but the comparison ends when you walk through the door. It has a vast two tiered lobby with comfortable seating. We spent some time on the second tier in the bar and there was ample seating for our group of 12. The hotel rooms were comfortable with spacious bathrooms. The rating is very good, rather than excellent for two reasons: the hair dryer in my room was broken: it was an old fashioned European one with a wand, which had separated from the hose. I advised the desk and they made a note of it but it was never repaired... sort of a shrug. The staff in the bar was also a little distant. It was a little difficult to get their attention. All in all, however, I would stay again.

We stayed in a corner room overlooking the pool and the hill with the castle above.
The bathroom was spacious however a little tired. The room had a sitting area and was excellent.
Breakfast was friendly and fine.
The reception staff were most helpful.
The hotel grounds are very attractive.
All in all we would use this hotel if we come back to Tomar.

Room Tip: I would suggest a superior room, however it may not come with a balcony.

I stayed at the hotel at the end of Semptember 2013 for 4 days. This was not my first time staying at the hotel, but this was the most pleasurable time. The room I had over looked the pool and the park, very peaceful and scenic. The staff was friendly but professional at the same time and as a lone woman traveler this was welcomed.

The one thing i was disapointed at was the food quality in the dining room.I seemed as if the food was processed, On both occasions I ate there, there was two groups of diners from different companies so maybe it was mass produced for them or Templarios is cutting down on food costs. I have dined at the restaurant before over the past years and the food was far better. Food at various restaurants around town were much better. But overall I was pleased with my stay and would stay there again If I return to Tomar.
