I have just returned from a fantastic 17 day break at Tempomar. It's a family run complex which met all my family's needs. As its a small complex a personal service could be provided. Our apartment (2 bedroom) was so spacious, usually we feel as though we are all on top of eachother - not here. Apartment had kitchen (with everything you need for your hol, and if its not there just ask staff and they'll try their best to sort it) living/dining room, toilet on 1st floor and on second floor - 2 bedrooms (with plenty of storage) and a family bathroom. There were also 2 balconies. Even though the apartment didn't have air con, they kept cool by opening windows and closing shutters (my husband was quite sceptical, but very pleased).
The Pool area was luvly, with a nice sized pool and plenty of sun loungers (lots of shade under the palms if you needed it, ideal for children in the midday sun). The pool bar offered snacks in the day which were very reasonable, there is also a lounge area where you can catch up on BBC news and an area where the children can catch up on disney channel or use Wi-fi. There is also a tennis court, full size snooker table and table tennis table (all of which are free).
The bar area was open in the evenings to, and as it was peak time on our visit BBQ evenings were held (don't miss Hugh's ribs) Karaoke, and Street Entertainers (enjoyed by adults and children alike). The children also had Kids Klub run by Samantha, my 2 boys were reluctant however they had a blast and were made to feel really welcome (resulting in going 4 times). This was the perfect chance for us as parents to go into the village of Burgau for a meal. A beautiful fishing village just outside the complex, the Ancorra Restaurant (not sure if spelt correctly) was AMAZING. The village is beautiful with a selection of small supermarkets, bakery, bars, restaurants and a gorgeous beach.
We hired a car however the was a good bus service (timetable available at reception), tickets for excursions could also be booked here (and were cheaper than other outlets). There was also a Cash Machine opposite.
Burgau is a beautiful holiday destination, however if you are expecting glitzy show bars. You won't find them. This isn't a negative.
It felt so safe for the children here and it was nice to see children enjoying the freedom of this holiday complex.
Fab complex run by great people, keep up the good work. We'll definitely be returning.
