We visited their newly opened branch along Dona Soledad Avenue in Better Living Paranaque twice. It has very cute and striking Japanese facade which attracted us to try the restaurant out. It is beside Caltex gas station across from Pizza Hut. Inside interior was also pretty with Japanese wooden tables and decors. Our first visit was on the first or second day it had opened. We were disappointed with the Wagyu beef that was recommended by the server. The serving was tiny (a mere 3 or 4 sticks of tiny dices of beef) for its expensive price. According to the server, it was good enough for two persons. The other items we ordered were ok but not exceptional.
On our next visit we wanted to try out their lunch bento box sets which we read from a blog was a good value. Much to our disappointment, the Dona Soledad Better Living branch do not offer lunch bento box sets. We ordered for Teriyaki Chicken donburri and the assorted Yakiniku. The teriyaki was not bad. The yakiniku was also ok. We were disappointed by the poor service. It took too long for the bill to get out. There was also a mix-up of bills between tables and an incorrect item on our bill. Our hot tea never arrived even after repeated follow-ups. Perhaps, this was because we were seated on the second floor balcony loft.
