“Service is excellent and Staff are courteous.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

For the past couple of years that I have traveled home from overseas. I make it a point that I stay with them.

Service is excellent and staff are courteous.

I really enjoyed staying with them.

The hotel is located on a main city street and 10 to 20 minutes away from major shopping centers. It is also located near the airport.

The place is secure and offers complimentary wifi on the lobby.

Stayed here for the wake of my nan and this is very near Loyola Chapel and Manila Memorial park. The hotel is very strict with how many people are in the room and it was charging us 700 pesos for an addtional person to sleep for 2 hours in the room.

The room is very basic, air con is quite slow to get cold, room is clean, there is now free wifi in the room but there is one on the lobby.

The shower is awkward coz you have to hold the shower head while using it or else water would go everywhere.

I would recommend this if you need a hotel to be near the cemetery but aside from that look for another one. Don't be fooled by the website pictures too. this hotel is 3 or 2 star.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

I've been there several times and it was a pleasant stay each time.

The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. There's a table with 2 chairs. A good tv, a fridge with refreshments. Aircon is ok, not too noisy. The bathroom is large enough. Sometimes the flush is a bit "tired". Hot shower ok but sometimes you have to wait a long time before the hot water arrive.

Staff is very helpfull (room cleaner, front desk, guards), always smiling and attentive to your wishes.

The room is around 30€ and it worth it, the breakfast is included.

It's better to get a room at the back because in front there's the Sucat road with heavy traffic during the day.

The hotel is near the Paranaque hospital and the shopwise supermarket with some restaurants around (5 min walk from the hotel). The hotel is also located in front of an entrance going to BF Homes, on Aguirre avenue you can find many resto near the Pergola area.

The International airport is quite near (20 min when no traffic).

Near : Manila memorial, SM Sucat

Room Tip: It's better to get a room at the back because in front there's the Sucat road with heavy tra...

Thank you for your review.
Your review is our latest review =) We are happy to hear from you.

Thank you especially for the negative comment on your review. We appreciate for the positive review but negative review helps us improving our service.

"Aircon is ok, not too noisy. The bathroom is large enough. Sometimes the flush is a bit "tired". Hot shower ok but sometimes you have to wait a long time before the hot water arrive."

We are now scheduling our regular maintenance work for room and toilet more often to prevent the problems you encountered. Please see our progress when you visit next time.
Aside from Santana Glove where your found restaurants near the hotel, there's new construction of SM department store which is the biggest department store company in the Philippines just 1 min walk away from Grami hotel. You will have a wider selection for your lunch and dinner.

We are always open to hear advice and complaint.

Once again, than you very much and we hope to see you again.

Thank you

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

We stayed at Grami for a week over the Festive season and quite unfortunately, not under the conventional reason of business or leisure visit. One of our relative passed away and the funeral proceedings were held at the Manila Memorial Park. A 10mins walk to the park, Grami was the closest and most convenient hotel to cater for our needs.

Grami is a three star hotel that offers basic, safe and comfortable accommodation for its price. Designed in outdated retro fittings, the rooms are very clean and provides the basic necessities such as a comfortable bed, fridge, tv, hot water and fresh towels. The hotel also offers free complimentary daily breakfast and wifi downstairs at the lobby.

Grami also offers a good massage on the 5th floor for php500 an hour. While, some may challenge to find a cheaper massage place around Manila, the luxury and convenience of strolling back to the hotel room is an additional premium worth paying for.

We found the hotel staff courteous, friendly and approachable.

The hotel is easy access to food and convenient stores. 7-11 is located diagonally across the hotel and plenty of food stores littered around the hotel. Santana Grove situated just up the road has a big grocery Shop-Wise store and a large variety of restaurants (Chow King, Starbucks, Max restaurant, etc). It is a 5mins jeepney ride (probably 3-4 stops) costing 8 pesos per ride.

Besides the hotel closely situated close to the memorial park, SM Sucat and the airport is approximate 20mins and 30mins car ride. (Note: the estimation is during off peak traffic)

One thing that I would advise is the hotel is situated next to the main room. With no double glazed windows, the rooms facing the main road will hear the buzz and noise from the traffic. If you a light sleeper, I would suggest opting for the rooms facing the village for a quieter alternative.

On overall, we found Grami a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We are very sorry for the late response. We just registered now and able to response for your review.

We really appreciate that you have enjoyed your stay in Grami hotel. Despite we are not a luxurious hotel but we are trying our best to serve the guest as other luxurious hotels.
We also appreciate your advise regarding the noise coming from outside of the building in the rooms facing the main road. We have been studying about the solution since we had our first complaint from the guests and we are changing our windows in the rooms facing the main road.
We doubt that it can totally prevent the noise but it will definitely help reducing the noise.

Once again, thank you very much for your review and also advice. I believe that your advice and complaints make our service better. We hope to see you again soon

Thank you

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2010

I had to book at the Grami hotel - which is 5 minutes away from my house - as I was having my house repainted and needed a low-cost place to stay nearby. I am a local, so I never really paid much attention to the Grami Hotel which I pass by everyday to and from work, until the need arose.

I travel a lot because of my work, so my standards when it comes to accommodation have reached a certain standard. I was prepared to see something shoddy when I checked out Grami and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. I booked myself and my best friend one of the newly built rooms on the fifth floor. As the rooms were new, they were pristinely clean, no grime on bathroom tiles. Floors were clean you can walk barefoot comfortably. Service is good too. I had earlier checked the some of the rooms of on the 2nd and 4th floors. Although not new, they are fairly decent.

Big plusses: free wifi at the ground floor, huge flat screen TVs in most rooms, free breakfast, amply stocked ref with refreshments, good airconditioning.

Everyone at the hotel embodies the Filipino hospitality - warm smiles, attentiveness, always willing to help.

Guests are mostly Koreans who make short trips to Manila for golf south of Manila. Note though that this is located in the suburb of Manila, so if you are a tourist who wants to be where the action is, Grami Hotel will not be the place to book.
