“Poor Hotel Had to Leave after 2 Days !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2011

We booked this hotel with airtours, On arrival we went by taxi because the coach would of took 2 hours, We got to the room and it was not very clean and the balcony was made of concrete and when you sat down you couldn't see any thing. After the second night we packed up and left, fortunately we new someone who was English and lived in goa so we moved to an apartment next door to then. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Room Tip: They room next to the pool could be better

We arrived at 5am to be greated by a hotel in total darkness including the reception. When they finally woke up a very grubby person in a vest gave us your room key, and our bags were taken to our room. We were on the third floor and every stair and corner turned I just wanted to run out of there. Dirty walls, light fittings hanging off, dirty windows. Our room was spacious but the sheets were dirty and did not fit. We collapsed in bed but soon found we were trying to sleep on a 1 inch mattress placed on a board. The pillows !!! were even worse just hard lumps. We had 3 hours of restless sleep and at 8am we looked at the view to be greeted by mounds of pigeon droppings on the balcony and a view downstairs of a dirty garden/dustbowl. We were there for all of 7 hours as by 12 midday we had checked out and found a really nice questhouse in Arpora.

Room Tip: Ask in the local bars/restaurants for recommendeds

the hotel was run down, filthy, no linen on the very thin matress, unworking locks on balcony door. The place was filthy and very neglected, even the locals cheered when we walked out of the place and they agreed its a very bad place.

I'll keep this brief as the memory of this dump still plagues me. It really is a hovel. From the outside it looks like a prison complex, even the areas are numbered in blocks. The room was appalling. We had to ask for the sheets to be changed as they were so filthy.

The balcony overlooking the lake was covered in pigeon crap, but at least tere was one, very old, plastic chair to sit on

The room was something out of a doss house. There was a list of rules and regulations and fines for breaking some of the rules pinned to the door. Breakfast was pretty ghastly, unless you enjoy eating in what is the greasiest of greasy spoons. We couldn't wait to escape. And it was over 2 kilometres from Bagga. So a taxi each way to the beach.

On the plus side. The staff were very nice, the pool was also nice and the view across the lake is quite lovely, as is the wildlife it attracts. But these are the only saving graces for this really quite appalling hotel.

The pictures on the website show a lovely resort that may have existed some years ago but bears no relation to the current state of the hotel and grounds. It has obviously been seriously neglected for some time and seems uncared for, filthy and dilapidated. Balconies are encrusted with dirt from the nesting pigeons and there are rodent droppings on the stairs and windowsills (i have pictures!) The jacuzzi shown on the website is not in use and is left filthy. there is rubbish strewn around the site and some used cups and plates sat outside an adjoining room to ours for the 3 days we were there without being collected. The beds were very hard and the room was not cleaned whilst we were there. The restaurant in the middle of the lake shown on the website was not in use and the roof was falling in in several places. I would not recommend this hotel at all for a holiday .
