Booked directly and were a little concerned about the high price, but it proved to be good value. Robert, the manager is very friendly and willing to give you tips about visiting the Stellenbosch wine region. There are two parking areas for your car. We stayed at the Lemon Tree house with an upstairs bedroom, downstairs kitchen/lounge area with satellite TV (although we preferred to watch the birds and gorgeous mountains & gardens outside!!), and a private terrace with sunbeds. The Gardens are something the owners are very proud of, and for a reason! Extremely well manicured and really huge in size. Mountains on either side, pond with ducks, a swing bridge, gazebo, even a hide to watch birds!! The territory is so big that you hardly see anyone else! You can walk around or hang out by the pool. I loved the heated outside jacuzzi - very nice, especially when it starts cooling off towards the night. Bear in mind that even during summer night temperatures are 2 times lower than in the day! We also enjoyed the tennis court quite a bit. DeKraal highly recommended!
