I found this hotel quite comfortable, beautiful building, very very well situated. A bit noisy in the mornings.

We stayed in the self catering units of the hotel. They are not on the same premises as the main hotel. So the over night reception is not easily located(only via telephone) They are also centrally located in Stellenbosch. They are best described as average. It is basically a house re-done into a few self catering rooms. The staff were very helpful and pleasant!
Rather stay in the Hotel its self(Which if booked over the internet is the package including the breakfast)
Stellenbosch its self is a wonderful town with lots of places (Restaurants etc) within walking distance of each other.

Room Tip: Stay in the main hotel...

My daughter and I shared the teenage room which was small but very comfy and had large bunk beds and a tiny bathroom, but at half the price of the regular rooms, it was a great deal. Breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect. Staff were good and I loved the little swimming pool in the courtyard.

We had a short stopver at Eendracht and the room and hotel were nice but nothing special. Very good central location and fantastic bathroom, also appreciated the air-conditioning. The service was hit or miss, some staff were very friendly others were less helpful or confused. Breakfast was fine but compared to our other stops in SA it was very basic. It was a very good place for the money and location though, and we thought it was worth what we paid.

The hotel was in a great location. The room (12) was very comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast very good. The room had no views to speak of being at the back of the hotel. Car parking is at the rear and safe, the town is a couple of minutes away. All in all very practical and a sensible option for a visitor to Stellenbosch.

Room Tip: May be at the front of the hotel for a view of the town and street.

It was a last-minute booking but the hotel was great in helping to organize things in Stellenbosh pretty much at no-notice time.Very pleasant and helpful management and staff. The room was off the little courtyard - very quiete and plasant. Coputer with internet access in the lobby. Breakfast was opulent or very special but decent.

The location is really nice - on one of the main streets but at the quieter end, still 2 min walk to most restaurants, shops and attractions downtown.

Prices are a bit on an upper side, but then it was the pick of the high season and when asked for the room for part of the last day at the end of the stay they were able to provide it at a very reasonable discount rate even though it did require some reshuffling of rooms in their bookings.

Room Tip: I have not seen the rooms upstairs but the one on the ground floor off the little courtyeard was ver...
