“One of main streets in this quaint, charming country town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

This town was captivating. It is old fashioned and quaint with nice shops, good restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating on the sidewalks, lovely old churches, a lovely town green. Just walking on Dorp and some of the other streets in this center of town area makes you feel like you are in another era. The town houses a frist class university and is surrounded by lovely rolling country side and many famous wineries. Stop and enjoy this place for a few hours or a few days.

“Lovely quaint vibe with gorgeous settler architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Traffic can be slow-moving at busy times, and students and tourists do tend to throng here, however this is place not to be missed.

A tourist attractions that never disappoints! With all the different coffee shops and places to go, Dorp Street is a place that you have to check out! The most historical street in Stellenbosch I would say.
