Starting from humble beginnings, Overture soon became a destination for great food, service and wines. Since then, Chef Owners Bertus Basson and Craig Cormack have taken Overture to new heights with accolades as prestigious as being in the Eat Out top 10 for five years in a row and acquiring three stars in the Rossouw's Restaurant guide for four years running. You will find Bertus behind the pots at Overture while Craig focuses on his salt range, Amouleh.

“Bad table but the rest was excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

We booked a long time ago and asked for a nice table at the front. When we arrived the only table left was the one at the very end near the hall. We could smell the kitchen all time during our meal - not very nice. They obviously overbooked the restaurant, even our chairs were from the tasting room.
Beside that - the food, the wines and the service were just great. We will give them another chance.

“Wonderful food and wine pairings.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

This restaurant served us delicious four courses paired with wines that set off the food beautifully. I just wish we lived closer and could visit more often.

“inspired cuisine inspiring setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

we were tired after a long flight and had just enough time to shower before setting off to find this remote restaurant - well worth the drive! such an amazing setting, very polished and capable staff, exquisite food paired with terrific wines - we also really enjoyed the walk around the lake and up to a view point over the estate after lunch

“As good as ever, fantastic food, charming staff and a stonking food with amazing views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

This is a must venue for anyone who is staying within 1 hour drive but you MUST book otherwise you will have watsed a journey. Difficult to find the first time, and don't be tempted to turn off before you get there into Ernie Els which is poor by comparison, keep on going and you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is 'top of the range' in every way and the food is also superb, but be warned the menu is small by comparison to most restaurants and the wine list is also excellent as in most good restaurants. Above all you really feel that they are pleased to see you and are given a wonderful welcome smile as you are shown to your table. In every way this is a fantastic place to eat.
