I do sometimes find that wineries with a beautiful view can become extremely snobbish. this was not the case here, from the moment I made the reservation a very vibrant young lady made sure we got a table, up to the end was it a very relaxed experience.
the only thing that did put us off, was the fact that we had to choose from the 2-course set menu. this would generally not be a problem but we had a very big breakfast and was happy to have one course only, which was not possible. we also felt that it was quite pricey for two courses, since one choice was pizza for starters. we would have liked to have a choice between an a la carte menu or set menu.
our waiter Doxy, was brilliant. over all a good experience, but wont be my first choice next time.
