“Great restaurant, outstanding waiter . . . looking forward to our next visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

Our entrees were steaks, risotto, and trout. Every one of them was terrific. Only one of the five of us thought he could handle dessert. His creme brûlée was exceptionally good and came in a bowl the size of a pie tin--so as luck would have it we all dug in. My last superlative--extraordinary--is reserved for Sarah, our waitperson. She was helpful when we had trouble making choices, friendly and funny, and managed to add a great deal to an already outstanding experience.

“Very good food in a lovely setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2012

Litchfield's is located in the Wigwam Resort. The environment is luxury southwest desert chic. Lots of fireplaces, firepits, romantic lighting, etc.
Menu is not large but it is interesting. After much debate, I decided on the trout dish. The brown rice butternut squash caught my eye, as well, and my server was more than accomodating in making sure I got that as a side, even though it wasn't offered with the trout dish.
Well-behaved children would be fine here.
Food was terrific, as was the service. The setting is romantic, but not intimidating if you are a solo diner. I will go back to this restaurant on my next trip to Phoenix.

Dinner for one, drinks, no apps, coffee, no dessert, plus tip = $60.00

“Great Place to eat, especially their steaks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2012

Litchfield's is located in the Wigwam Resort which is worth the trip itself. A wonderful old resort with lots of history and pictures of the resort. The restaurant is a little hard to find in the sprawling resort, but once there, it is comfortable and with attentive wait staff. Our group of four all had the steaks (filet and NY strip) and I have to say it was some of the best I have ever had. Will go back and try some of the other dishes.
